    Front Shackle Brackets

Hey guys. Been trying to round up some parts for my 1009. I needed front shackles (clevis hooks) and picked up a couple "D" rings and hangars. Turns out the brackets that hold the hangars on were removed at some point as well. Anybody have the fronts lying around that they could part with? THANKS!

    2008 KIA Military Truck

I saw these all over the Philippines recently. The Army uses them for everything you could possibly think of. Some have troop seats, canvas covers, trailers, comm shelters...you name it. I thought they were a cool replacement for what our CUCV's used to do...

    Odometer Milage Change

Thanks guys. Those are perfectly legitimate ideas. I can also submit the paperwork to the state with the all the necessary information and be 100% as well. I would RATHER set the odometer to the correct mileage and avoid a work-around. It is not my daily driver and hasn't moved sine the speedo...

    Odometer Milage Change

Hey Guys, First of all let me preface this request by saying that I am ABSOLUTELY not soliciting anything illegal. Florida law states: "It is a Felony for anyone to knowingly tamper with, adjust, alter, set back, disconnect, or fail to connect an odometer of a motor vehicle, so as to reflect...

Dash light bulbs - LED replacement

I agree with 4boggin. I have sparked my truck many times with no apparent ill effects. As a matter of fact I did just as you have while replacing my voltmeters (I have a 24v and a 12v). It was indeed the 10 amp Voltmeter fuse fuse that was blown. 4boggin is also correct about the relays on the...

Dash light bulbs - LED replacement

Ok Guys - Here a few pics that I took of the dash as taken apart. I repainted the gauge/light mount gloss white. Painted the inner bezel black and the backside of it as metallic as possible. All this was done to reflect as much light as possible into the illumination recesses to give as much...

Thanks alot for the tip Recovry. No offense, but I went out with my multimeter and checked as well. 12 volts for marker and then 12 volts on the other line for brake. The line that wnt 12 volts with the break had 6 volts on it WITHOUT brake applied. Is this normal?

    M1009 REAR Blackout Light Operation

Was trying to figure out EXACTLY what the rear blackout lights on my M1009 are doing. All the wires are cut and all the lights are busted. I see 2 wires plus ground going to each light. The -20 (figure F-20) calls them BO STOP MARKER LT and the fronts are named BO MARKER LT. The rear lights have...
