Congrats Ike! Crappy 002a's in Norfolk, suitable only for parts went close to $400 today. Out of my field of vision for sure.

Just keep searching the New Castle, DE and Pennsylvania GL sites. They get a lot of them but they seem to be aggregated nationwide for generator sales events. Also Ft. Drum/Watertown, depending on where you are in NY. Welcome.

You are right Jim. Better safe than sorry. In the past I didn't have a source. BTW: your pop called a couple days ago. Yesterday, unit I discussed with him tested at 130% for 10 min before overheating. Waiting on new glow plugs and I'll call him back.

Munchies,
No disrespect intended. Same starting experience here in VA at 60 degrees.
BTW:
I also was born in MI, (Mt. Morris, a bit north of Flint). Am in VA by choice having left MI 52 years ago. Where are you from in MI?

If you are getting "squirts" from the pump, IMHO, the pump isn't your problem. The pump doesn't spew fuel far or in quantities at high pressure. It dispenses tiny amounts of fuel at what looks to be low pressure....looks are deceiving. . If all air is out to the injectors, you will get the...
Think about it Munchies, Triple Jim is in Northern NC, Bookpile is in PA; you are in MS. I doubt you will ever need to preheat in MS. The guys north would like to be able to start in Feb. However, both should be able to start this month of August without preheat unless both are at high...
