There is a ground strap on the engine, rear top pass side to the frame under the exhaust down pipe. I added a ground strap from the same place on the engine over to the firewall.

I like the one's Made in Germany. It's a pain to change a leaker on the passenger side on a turbo 6.5L.

Check the three nuts that hold the injection pump. Make sure they are tight. If one is loose that could be your oil leak. As for the fuel, I think it is from the check valve. Good call on replacing the oil pressure unit now that the intake is off.

I put some GAA grease on the inside of the seal were it meets the crank, then put permatex #2 sealant on the outer rim of the seal. Used the mallet to start to seat the seal. I then used the old seal to finish seating the seal. You don't want to seat it to far in. They make a tool to do this...

    CUCV-II, South Florida Rebuild

I messed up when I was seating the rear main seal and the top half went to far in. No way to fix it, so I pulled the seal out. Had to order another one( none of the parts stores had one in stock. Just installed the new seal now for the front seal.

Google to learn about the GM Passkey/Passlock security systems. It kills fuel delivery to the injectors! Relearn procedure,( key ON for 11 minutes, then OFF for 30 seconds X3) and then....start engine. The Security light should be off.
