duece uses a single mass flywheel..They use to use a dual mass on ford trucks with 7.3 or 6.9 not to many others used them .They didn't hold up to good even in just 1 ton trucks
thats normal wear nothing to be concerned about ..you can take a whizzer and touch up the starter gears if you want but thats not bad enough to worry about
Guys building low riders have been running 12 volt pumps on as much as 48 volts for years ..Any time you have two batteries in series they need to be drawn apon at the same rate and charged at the same rate....Yes they will take a certain amount of uneven discharging and charging ..but this will...
if you pull the power for the pump off of just one battery it will kill both batteries and probably the gen to...there is a serious risk of making one of the batteries explode..when you pull off of just one what happens is that batttery will discharge more than the other .The gen will charge...
There was someone that did a thread on this he ran 28-29 sec in the 1/4 .His truck was probably turned up..i think it would be hard to say what a stock truck runs as there are so many of them that the fuel rate has been turned up or down:driver:
i just ran my 12 volt pump on 24 volts it works great just make sure you use a 24 volt relay...I used a starter relay from a deuce i've been working mine like this for about 7 yrs no problems at all ..
Awsome job i really like this idea i want to do this to my truck too...it would be nice to drive around with the fuel turned down and when i'm playing offroad crank it up and let the fun times roll.8)How did you attach the cable to the fdc piston ?
i tried it once.. It turned my air filter into an oil filter...If you do this you can also end up with a run away problem ...do not do it....chris is right if you are getting enough blow by for it to be an issue it is time for a new engine ...you can run the blow by tube into the exhuast at a...
It's not gonna work like you think...yes that would double your gear ratios..but the mutlifuel doesnt have enough hp or torque to take off from a stop if you doubled the gear ratios you would have to use low. This would give you the same ratios as stock in high...Then you would need to shift the...
Nice job...looks like you and your wallet have been working overtime...I can't wait to see the finished project...it will be cool to see what you do with all to see what you do for all the small details
i have a speedo adapter from a 5 ton on mine. There are several different ones out the as the five ton came with two different size tires and two different gear ratios. Also there are two different ones for the 2.5 ton trucks ... so just do the math to see what % bigger your tires you are putting...
:driver:Wouldn't it be easier and faster to just put the slide in camper in pic #3 in the bed of the m105?I made a camper out of my m105 works nice for going to haspin...i have a 70 gal water tank mounted above the left wheelwell. The bed is on the right when you come in the back door. The hot...
i just got done putting a new engine in my truck.Seemed to run ok .. but then i realized i couldnt go over 40?wtf?i changed the filters, adjusted the valves still nothing. So i turned the fuel up..I did it on the last motor i turned it till i could just start seeing black smoke at full throttle...
