dh it does work with the heater hose in either location .. you might have to angle the fitting toward the back of the motor a little but it clears no problem..i'm in the process of getting a plasma table right now so i will be making several different brackets and other specialty things for...
clint digger is a ss member..his handle on here is cc equiptment.i would get a hold of him on here cuz he marks his price up on ebay to cover the ebay fees.. he has always been great to deal with for me.super nice guy
i would retorque the head gaskets while you have the valve covers off.. i think most don't get properly retorqued after the break in period...might save you some trouble down the road
I would get a cooling system tester....pressurize the cooling system and listen for where its leaking ..Take the oil fill cap off..listen in there..then pull the valve covers and listen maybe you can narrow it down to front or rear..If you aren't hearing much from having the valve covers off i...
ussually you get water in the oil. When things are shut down the cooling system is still pressurized even though the engine isn't this forces coolant into the oil..When things are runing both are pressurized even thought the oil pressure is more... there is n nothing that says the leak is in an...
To me safety is job one... Its great to not have a shear pin but doent help get the truck unstuck if you are dead cuz the cable broke from over loading it....The biggest problem with the stock winch is the lack of knowledge ...It seems to me 99.9999% of problems with the stock winch are user...
I have 15.5s on my truck with a 15.5 for a spare all on stock rims stock spare carrier..Heres some pics only mods are to the tool box and tool box bracket..I cut the lip off the tool box bracket with the plasma cutter and put a curve in the rear tool box wall with the bfh...
Glad to see you are feeling good enough to start working on it again.I know how bad back problems suck first hand:cry:the price seam pretty consitant with what i found at least within a few bucks..Installing both of my kits will save you some over the wolverine kit..But the really big savings...
Electric is great till your battery fries out or water gets in there and messes up the motor or relays..I have had all different types...All have good and bad..electric winches are a big burden on the electric system and dont hold up long under heavy use. There is a good reason tow trucks and...
I wonder how much power the dual alt use compared to the stock alt.?the two alts have about the same rotating mass as the stock alt.depending on which alt you go with you can turn it of and on as needed so it's not pull extra power from the engine. the biggest problem i see with equalizers is...
Similar but different .I changed a lot so it would be easier to build I redesigned it so it comes from a 4x6 piece of steel no waist also it uses the back pulley and doesn't require a tie rod setup. But I had a great model to work from..just went a little extra to make it affordable
I made my kit different than the others out there for several reasons....First i didn't like the idea of having to switch both alts just to add 12 volts. So my kits can be used individually or together... Second i didn't like the idea of having to pay the extra shipping for alts that can be...
They make led strip lights that can run on 12-48 volts and would hide along the drip edge of the stock roof They make them for the rear to they are meant to mount to the tailgate or between the tailgate and bumper
The motor will hold up fine with 24 volts. The relays are a different story they will not take it...you could add one of my 12 volt alt kits and a 12 volt battery for the best setup....Then you can run all your 12 volt accessories and not have to worry about it
what kind of shape is it in and what type of bed if its in decent shape i would remove it for you free and give you scrap price for it ..if it is a m109 bed i would deffinately be interested and would probably even drive out to your place to take it off for you.other wise chain it to a tre and...
