    Rebuilt injector pumps - maybe

You might check with Barrman. He found a reasonable place in College Station to rebuild pumps (cheaper I believe than this price). I don't dare post who it is in case I'm ostracised (kind of like ostrichcized only smaller). MC

    Rebuilt injector pumps - maybe

Generally I agree with you on the "No for sale ads" post but there are exceptions. It does not appear the OP is selling anything and the "vendor" doesn't appear to be someone who would be approaching the admins looking to buy an ad (could be wrong there but now the admins know where he is and...

    Post purchase Inspection San Antonio

I'd offer to help but I'm actually assisting with the recovery of a MKT in Canyon Lake tomorrow. Feel free to drop by later if you'd like and I'll take you to lunch and show you my blown wheel cylinder.

817 going to the scrap yard

And once again someone finds an innovative way to circumvent the "100 posting" rule for classifieds:-P

My Sheriff wants a deuce for the S.O.

It would make getting a speeding ticket more tolerable. And Maverick, Vinnie's avatar has nothing on yours.

My Sheriff wants a deuce for the S.O.

Actually think that's his GF. If not, the SO has interesting uniforms in that part of the state.

    Working on the MKT

Well you can simply add you work on to this thread to keep it alive or create your own. I personally like seeing one thread that lots of people add to that way I can bookmark it and check for things on my vehicle that someone else has done to theirs without trying to find it with "search."

    Working on the MKT

I certainly couldn't have done it this weekend without help. It's amazing how much work it is compared to home (especially since there isn't any sink to leave the dishes in for a couple of days) and it's going to take some time to get the temp ranges down on the burners. I had a married...

    Working on the MKT

Big weekend at Camp Mabry in Austin. I cooked 4 meals for our club while set up a the American Heroes event. Went pretty smooth but I'm shot physically so will probably be down for a couple of days. Here's a couple of photos. I was able to set up next to the M60A3 in front of the museum...

M1010 Electrical Drain on front Batt.

Welcome to the M1010 club. As Lavarok mentioned your problems are not over. I tried fixing the Duvac because replacing it with the battery equalizer is fairly expensive. What I wound up doing was wasting a lot of time trying to fix it only to have it come up again and again. In the end I...

    Insurance from Progressive

Peter B hasn't been CEO of Progressive since 1999. Glenn Renwick is currently in that position. Lewis is quite the Lefty but then again so is the former CEO of General Electric and dozens of other companies most people spend money at daily.

    M1010 Recovery

Congratulations and welcome to the M1010 Club. Sorry but it's going to be posted anyway so might as well get in early: nopics

    HIMARS cabs sold today

I bid when they were down in the $400 range. I thought of mocking one up facing backwards on a M105 frame (they were listed at 2500lbs) and towing it to shows or living history events so the kids could play around in them. Nice idea but $3k is a little out of my range for a toy for other folks...

Seems I remember you saying you were thinking about picking one up for the club. That ever happen?

    Insurance from Progressive

My comments were geared toward people in the past who tried to get by with a deuce on a personal auto policy. The comment was always "well they wrote it so they have to cover it" which is not the case. If you're driving something that doesn't meet the definition of an "auto" under the policy...

    M103A3 (M105) Brake Light Issue

RESOLVED!!! Thanks for all the quick responses. I guess it would have helped knowing in advance that the tail lights grounded through the housing. Both tail light housings on this trailer are plastic. There were NO star washers on any of the bolts and the bolts were throughly rusted (lock...

    M103A3 (M105) Brake Light Issue

Read the TM and it's advising replacement of the wiring harness! The issue is all lights working except the brake lights but when brakes applied the tail lights go out (still no brake lights). I checked the bulbs first then I checked the continuity - fine. Power to the socket, plug, etc...

    Working on the MKT

Thanks Mitch. I'm having issues with the brake lights not working now. All the other lights are fine so I'm getting ready to pull them apart and check the bulbs.

    Insurance from Progressive

As glcaines said, make sure your truck matches what the policy definition of "my insured auto" says and then check the part of the policy called "Exclusions." When I worked for Progressive they would not cover anything over 10k GVW unless it was on a Commercial Policy and you wouldn't have...

    Working on the MKT

I know 3 different Scout leaders that do just that. I'll find out tomorrow night how it is to feed 20 hungry not so young men (well young at heart maybe). I was making up the shopping list last night and just hope the store has enough bacon for this weekend.
