Just Checked mine 10 September 2008 and still showing pending status when the chat rep told me it would be done yesterday at the latest. I know they have a lot to process but I sent mine in on the 28th of August. I now have two on pending status.
I really will put about any filtered fuel that will work into the mix as long as it does not have compatability issues the tank will most likely be a collection device with a power filter hooked up on the tongue.
I love the brotherhood we have on this site!
Christian will be driving it back it will be about a hundred miles or less. I ran my first duece home on a basic PMCS check almost 400 miles with not one issue and it got almost 13 miles to the gallon.
Wear a tan T shirt if you are not putting tags...
Very nice brother of mine and it looks like you do not have the ladder from the shot inside. I am hoping the EUC clears soon as I do not want any more of what I paid for walking away like the turn signal switch did.
It really upsets me to see that as well as that mangled CUCV in the can this...
I think some of them did. I am not too worried I have winches on the deuce and M818. I am hoping to have my son Christian pick it up as soon as the truck invoice is ready. I do not want any more of it stolen
RE: Re: RE: Won an M109 today
Well the EUC and my picture are on their way to GL lets see how long it takes. I would think from comments here that the turn signal switch was stolen from this truck with it being in such good shape otherwise. Is anyone parting out a duece that has a servicable...
RE: Re: RE: Won an M109 today
I do not have a photo of the platforms but they were hinged below the door and foulded up against the rear bulkhead. They had adjustable legs that supported them and if they dug the van in it allowed the General to step out and onto the ground next to the trench...
Drive it home get a tan tee shirt and most LEO's will not think about stopping you. Get it insured before you do but if it runs it would be fine driving it that far.
I may suggest Rustbullet for that hood. We should consider an Eastern Shore round up I aint afaid o no bridge
When the M1009's were brand new we got around 24 MPG in convoy ops it was nice to get them as we had been running M915 convoys with M151's and that was not fun. On really long trips once we got away from the base we would load them up on one of the M872's that had room and ride in the cab of...
RE: Won an M109 today
It will be getting bunks and workspace as well as a commo spot to add in a HF radio. I will also add a platform on the back like the General Officers had in Desert Storm. It is a clean truck and why they never put a heater in the cab while having an ether start is...
RE: Re: RE: Won an M109 today
I know that is the hard part buying it as truck runs and not seeing the turbo. Funny how they took 30 pictures of the duece dump truck. I am hoping someone that is near there can go by and check it out. I will be calling the site tomorrow morning.
Anyone have...
RE: Won an M109 today
I will tell my son to take a roll of hundred mile an hour tape with hm when he picks it up to drive it home. Anyone close to Anneville that can look at this?
Thanks
My M1031 is in there and they told me that it would be done by today but it is still showing pending too. Thanks Robyn. I always use a read confirm option on my emails and they got them and read them just processing the paperwork is my guess.
Also please pass on to the leadership that Sarah...
Reading the thread about running on used motor oil got me thinking that if I haul the old water trailer behind it after I convert it to a biodiesel/ Cleaned Used oil trailer I could do some long trips at low cost. I will have to pick up a turn signal switch because I totally missed that until I...
Well the LORD was helping me again today as it came in under my top auto-bid. It seamed to be one of the nicer ones at Anneville PA
let me know what you think.
Oh yeah final bid was $2449.00
I am going to make this one into the ultimate camper overnight run truck
Question does that look...
