I used the advanced auto battery from autocraft group 31s farm tractor. It has studs so I added the thread on termials . Battery with coupon code p20 was 83.00 and termials were 5.00. Battery has 1185 cranking amps/ 950 cold cranking amps

Sorry about delay! blue2actual, I used 1x1 angle 1/8 thick about 5 " long. About 3 " down do a notch in one side 20 degrees and bent it. Welded the cut. Drilled a 3/8 hole 3/4 from end and another hole 1/4 " about 3/4 from end. I held it up after the 3/8 hole and marked the 1/4 with sharpie...

From what I know the 6.2 flexplate, Converter holes 5 are oblong left to right and one is top to bottom. about it can be warped? keep us posted!

You only need a few hrs. You can put a timer on it . I just have the cord at the garage door so you can reach out and plug in. there is a differance in a warm block.

I put in a immersion type, Was easy ,more pita to drain the antifreeze then pop the freeze plug out. used the middle drivers side plug. 24 bucks for the heater 41mm at advanced.

I just buy the harbor frieght 9 dollar hvlp guns to paint and throw away when done. It costs more for the solvent to clean then the gun.:wink:

All the arms are the same on the end. To remove turn chrome part either front or back as u pull out ,just be careful. U can go in the salvage yard and get a few in just mins. I put a delay one on m1009 that wasnt chrome but all black,looks better just doesnt here delay!

Here on the east coast Ive seen both the electric and man. in two yards the past few days, but did see more electric. glass is rare because without the batterys in truck people just smash the window to get at the motors!
