Boisemed,My 09 has a 08 step that MIKEPOP did a few yrs back and it make the truck look better! The pintle needs to be turned side ways to drop the tailgate or youll get a little dent, but so worth it. If you need pictures I can crawl under and send.

Under that vent where the wipers are is a seam on the firewall that is caulked with seam seal that drys out. I used seam seal in caulk tube and stopped wet floors. Picked it up at napa.

Mistaken is right! got a box of 25 rivnuts at grainger for 10 ten bucks. Threaded a 5/16 bolt with nut into it and tighten the nut while hold the bolt. Its a snap! What add a leafs can be put in the front? Am I correct or blowing smoke, A civy has 2.5 front leaves? Because my m1009 has 3 inch leaves so do you use pickup add a leafs ?:cookoo:

I removed the wipers and front vent. the water was getting in from a seam down in there. The body seam sealer was cracked. I picked up seam seal at napa and all fixed. Also the problem with the kick vents. Foam seal on back dryed out. Used foam seal 1/2 inch on a roll from home depot .
