    A friend of mine died back in '75 and his fam offered me his '63 Vette for 2000. I had just bought my first house and was engaged and just started my own masonry business. I was broke. I still think about that car. My future wife was more important, and still is.

    Kentucky back to Pa. , Who is in Nitro?

    Saw two deucues at a large shop after crossing the river into Maryland, I think, the town was Nitro, according to the exit sign. Pardon my typing skills.This place was off I 68 going into western Maryland.

    Was on vacation for a week. Got back and caught up on things and then this morning went back to work on the M51A2 dump. Replaced the pistons. Tough job with limited equipment. Very heavy. The problem was the bent pistons. My wife saw me overjoyed for a change! This truck has been waiting for her...

    Pinholes in Air and Fuel Tank

    I agree with most of you. If a fuel tank is leaking in one spot, chances are there are many other spots ready to come thru. Get a good tank. Both of them. Spilled fuel does alot of damage. No brakes maybe fatal. I dont think you would want to drive with worry either.That takes the fun out of it.

    Air Tank Ooops!

    If you can remove the tank it would be easier to see and work on. If it broke off it is probalbly corroded on the threads. Soak it in p.b. blaster penetrating oil and then get a set of "E.Zee " outs and try that. It doesnt always work. The threads may get scraped. You could always buy a used...

    No brakes

    On mine I had to bleed the M.C. and then they worked fine. It had gone low and when I refilled it there was no pedal, after bleeding just the m.c. it works good.

    Dump cylinders removed

    Making progress, I am done with the removal of the bad cylinders. Here are some pics of them.I will be going over to Am Generals house to pick up the good ones as soon as he is free.Four hours each way!
