I had time this morning to experiment with the hydraulic control valve adjustment, and I adjusted it all the way either direction and inbetween. The way it was originally was the best adjustment. So I thought I would disconnect the piston ends completely from the raised body. With props in and...
Oh yeah we used to climb like monkeys back in our twenties! Now I think about every step. I will be adding a couple steps to the M51 cause the old knees dont want to cooperate. I have had knee trouble since I was 16.
Thanks guys for your advice, I am going to think about it. I appreciate the input. If it wasnt for this site, I wouldnt get anywhere. Forgot to say thanks, thats all. About rebuilding them, with the bent rams, I dont want to throw good money at these and it sounds risky. I have a used set lined...
Both rams have a slight bend. 1/4 inch. One has a broken ring in it. I am thinking of pulling them and replacing with a set of used ones. It chatters on the way up and on the way down. My gut feeling is that these maybe too far gone to save.

Sounds like an M135. If it is, it originally came with singled rear wheels and 1100-20's  I would like you to find out where he purchased the wheels to fit it? They are alot easier to change tires on and off. I am sure other guys would like to know too. [/i]What would you want for...
