    Stretch44875 Saved My Bacon

I won't be the one to tell the highway patrol anything! Glad you made it ok. Contray to what it sounds like, he has a very nice plow truck. I'm just glad the truck pull started ok and you make it home. Was a little worried about it starting if you turned it off. Dennis

    My CV joint fell apart!

Those joints are one of those things that fall apart easy, and go together hard! If it's not worn where the balls ride, put it together and go.

    Deuce cab lights

Think memphis sells an aftermarket hardtop that has spots for mounting clearance lights.

    2011 Haspin BS/T-shirt thread.

Well.... AMgeneral is talking about bringing his 915 with trailer. Maybe something could be worked out? Thinking that gets you around 45,000lbs. Richmond is pretty close, could almost drive them that far.

    Slow pulling a hill

If that is your truck in the avatar blowing smoke, then your pump is cranked. Mine is cranked up and I don't think it blows as much.

deuce smokes a lot from time to time

Not sure why I get the surge of power when the filters are starting to plug up. Only thing I can thing of is the return line is restricted in some way by dirty filters, increasing the fuel pressure in the filters. That would cause more fuel to be pushed into the IP.

deuce smokes a lot from time to time

UMO will smoke a little more than diesel, but not much. If you have lots of smoke and power, the egts are up and the engine is getting more fuel. I also run 100% oil. If I am smoking a lot and excess power, the filters are plugging up. Usually about 100 miles after the smoke, it will start...

J pipe prices ... parts prices in general

All the pipes I have seen are the same. I believe someone makes stainless pipes, I could see them being expensive.

    Need advise asap

You realize a M35 is not a honda civic right? Sure you might get lucky and it will drive home for you. But can you even do a basic pre-trip inspection? Brakes being #1, they are notorious for having problems. Lack of brakes on a 13,000lb truck is not good. Wheel bearings set and have...

    2011 PNW Mini Rally #4

Guys, keep the name calling or he's a bad guy or whatever, out of the threads.

    'Pin-on' 10,000lb front winch

Yikes. Amazing that the truck did not suffer more. So good news, winch works. Bad news, wrecked deuce.

    Multifuel bearings

Yep, along with the sandblaster, compressor, and generator motors. Maybe I should rename the barn Gimpy north? One of these days we'll get'er done. Get the crankshaft out of the truck yet?

    Multifuel bearings

That's interesting, a LDS motor with a cracked crank is sitting in my pole barn. What are the odds? Want to come fix it?

    overdrive gears available soon

It's been a long time coming, glad to see you made it! Still have your used set? Dennis

    M553 10ton GOER Update

I've meet Gimpy from SS, what one are you talking about? I'm scheduling vacation for GA this year, and the GOER is one of the reasons! 700 miles in a M108!

    1942 Diamond T 980 M20...thread renamed ( old name ..thread disapeared...?)

Should be fixed now. Not sure why sometimes the title does not change, I noticed that before when I didn't have moderator status. Thread is in correct forum too.,

    1942 Diamond T 980 M20...thread renamed ( old name ..thread disapeared...?)

It's DH's fault! Not really, I did it. Took me 20 min to get the four threads into one, but somehow deleted the whole thing. Sorry about that. I did send a PM that he could repost the thread. I could rename this thread and put it in the right spot, if ya want.

I would, but can't seem to figure out how to get a picture off google maps. Besides, no trucks are outside.
