Thats the way to tow a deuce with a deuce.Did you build a set of ramps to get them up there or did you have a wrecker put them there?

Nice fuel truck:idea:.There is a video on you tube of a m275 towing a trailer that thing sounds mean .One of these days i'm gonna make me one since they are way to hard to find.Looks like the fuel tank will be the hardest thing to round up

ya i guess you right about that but at least you would be less than 26000lbs then.i'm pretty sure the m275 was rated at 17000lb towing with the fifth wheel is that a on road or cross country rating

i'd like to see those pics. m275s are awsome. i would think they would be great for towing a deuce with a tow bar. since they are lighter you could do it legally without a cdl

I'd take one .They are one of my favorite trucks. One of the few short wheelbase deuces they are lighter too. they would have to be awsome offroad.

a roll bar would be nice. but a triangulated system would be more along the lines of what would be needed to hold up to the forces at hand.i would probably go with a 5x2 5/16 wall tube for the hoop. and 3x2 5/16 for the support legs . i would gusset the corners with 3/8 plate also you would...

the heat does shrink the pull thats what causes it to break free. but it cools slowly as it is in oil . which is how metal is hardened . if you threw water on it to cool it .that would make it softer and easier to strip .

just find a tree tie it off to the tree .make sure everything is unbolted .take the tail lights off and drive out from under it .

i though that was a lift point like the the hmwvv has on the hood

yep heat is your friend .heat the plug till it is red hotthen let it cool.they ussually come right out when you do that if not you can heat around the plug and put pressure on it till you get it hot enough to start moving

not saying i would do it . but if you have a farm it fits the theme . neat idea on the exhaust pipe bull horns .if nothing else you have a good imagination.

Any engine will run backwards. Ussually not to long as there isnt much fuel to be had from the exhaust system. i have seen it several times .

on the road or not you will have to get a wide load permit just to be able to tow it from mud hole to mud hole . or you will have to take the outer wheels off for transport. plus you will need custom wheels to get the wheel spacing needed to run dual 16.00s and that is the biggest problem you...
