i would think you would want the pivots as close to up and down as possible.but you could run it how kenny had his even with the boom retracted and the cable running at an angle. just make sure the hook is close to the pivot on the truck .the cable angle doesnt really matter that much when...
great daily drivers free fuel cheap insureance and plates. if you live in a subdivision you probably will need to move cuz they suck anyway. they probably cry if you fart outside cuz there is a smell ordinence.if you cant park it you shouldnt be driving it anywhere.i try yo drive mine at least...
Nice job on the can holders. I've been wanting to put some on mine . I would be more worried about damaging them when i'm offroading than getting hit by a car. I ripped one can up already on a big tree branch. and it seems i kill the mud flaps on the sides of the deep holes i go though. Even...
hey i want to get in line to kick you:deadhorse:i wouldnt even think of selling on egay again.they work for the buyer not the seller even though you are the one paying to list it. put it on craigslist it's free and no drama with people that dont pay costing you more money to relist it
go with a z pak for the 3-4 clutches. they make a wider band to if you want to get crazy with it but the rabestos pro series do pretty good. .as far as the other clutches semi metalics hold up better under heat and dont peal as fast if you get water in it.one other thing you really should do is...
Any engine can be hooked to any trans you just have to make an adapter like i did on my tractor to put te mercedes diesel in there Counter clockwise rotation is a way bigger problem to deal with .ya you could flip all there diffs ,remake the steering linkage ,driveshafts ,try to deal with the...
umm if it runs counter clockwise you will have a top speed going backwards of 56 mph and about 5mph going forward so it wont work for you like you want ,sorry .Sounds good on paper but the deuce and most all us built cars and trucks run clockwise rotation.
looks good nice job.But i have to ask why go through all the work to have the same size beds but less weight capacity. It's funny the a3 makes an ugly 6x6 but looks like it was made to be a bobber. But good idea for what to do with the extra parts from doing a bob. as that trailer is nice and way...
Yes the tire is still aired down . It would probably rub if aired up. You could mod the tool box a little more than i did and shim the spare tire carrier out that way you could have it aired up while under there.i am gonna finish moding mine when the weather gets nicer. But for now it gets the...
it looks factory .i have a remote light i saved off my rv i am gonna put on my deuce.I am gonna make a convoy light pole to mount it to so it will be right behind the cab .I'm sure you will like having that hitch on there to .Nice job keep up the good work[thumbzup]
I lower it a little at a time i keep a finger on the lock then lower it,lock reset the ratchet unlock and repeat. Or i use a long extention so i can just keep going around with the ratchet without hitting the bed
Nice job so far. i would probably use the trailer as a trueing jig .You can spin the the wheels easier without turning the axles and spider gears. Also you will only have to jack up one tire that way.
Are the riveted wheels the same diameter all the way from bead to bead ?would it be possible...
