Took the deuce out for a spin this afternoon and came upon a woman on the side of the road. She actually flagged me down and told me that her husband told her if she ever needed assistance, the military would help if they could. Anyway, I digress. She had a blowout and didn't have a jack and...
I repacked the bearings in my rear axle yesterday and took the truck for a spin this afternoon. Drove it for about 30 minutes at 50 mph. When I stopped I immediately checked the hubs. I could hold my hand on them only for about 4 to 5 seconds--you think they are too tight? Should I back the...
The compressor regulator is on the fire wall (slightly on the passenger side) engine side. These can be adjusted according to the TM to maintain around 100 lbs as I recall. You want to make sure the pressure is regulated properly. I'll try to dig up the page numbers and exact TM.
Kenny,
I'm staying with the 1100s. I have a set hubs in both configurations from Dave. My garage is too full of stuff right now so I can make some room by going with duals--I can get rid of two more tires. Now that the bed is covered, I plan to put the last tire in the bed as a second spare...
David,
I saw it at the Crestview, Florida, show several years ago. I will contact people in our club (FFC MVPA) and see if I can come up with a name for you.

They are different on the M101. At least on mine they are. My M101A1 has wooden staves that are "covered" with a piece of sheet metal. I'll try to get a pic. The M105 short staves are all metal.
I finally got a top for my deuce--those M105 tops are hard to find. Thanks to Mark!
I also got the drums turned today. I thought it was expensive--$35 per drum! Did I get ripped off, or is this fair?

Walter (Green Gator) is heading north to get his M109. He stopped by my place to get a couple spares. Just thought I'd share the beginning of his adventure with the group. I think he said he's headed to Indiana to get it.

I have these parts left over from my old M715--which was sold several years ago. If you need these or want them as spares, send me a pm. I'll sell them cheap. They were my spares.

Bjorn,
So, is it possible to change those hoses without taking that manifold off? I didn't attempt to change mine because I thought you had to pull those to get the hose back on.

Allan, I'd won the lotto I would have gotten you one! I do plan on upgrading the fuel filters too. John is still doing some testing before he makes them available.
I know this has been shown before, but not on my truck. I installed John's spin on filter kit this afternoon. Wow! what a breeze! While I had the filters off, I changed the two hoses for the oil cooler? They were splitting and I thought it was a good time. Anyway, the filter set up was a...
