Don't really see a problem with that. I'd probably bolt and weld the assembly together. Better safe than sorry! Unless youre hauling a lot of weight I see it working ok:twisted:
Engine temp. should be anywhere from 40f-whatever it takes to melt the engine block. The fuel heater I believe is for heating the fuel or something like that. Naw just kidding Boomer. Maybe someone will chime in here with some serious answers.

I went through the same thing with my other deuce. Luckily I was able to just put it back on and tighten it up and it never came loose again. Of course I was on my way to work and would love to have seen the look on my face when I was sitting there holding the shifter in midair.:evil:
Wandering if there are any rims available for cucv that are 16.5 so you could run hummer tires. You would definately have to do some lifting. Just a thought there are so many hummer tires on the market cheap. I bet it would look pretty cool.:-D

A friend of mine lost his gp cont. card and threw it away. He instead installed a 12v solenoid on the firewall. installed a push button under the dash which is easily reached. Push and hold for 10 seconds and it fires rite up even on the coldest mornings. One less electronic piece to worry about...
Yeah they definately pulla little easier with the brakes released. I guess it was an honest mistake. I also had a pull with my deuce today but only my neighbors s-10. couldn't even tell it was back there and couldn't see it either.

I didn't do anything to the interior. It had fresh material on the seats when I picked it up at GL. I put in all new glass which only cost me $135.00. I wanted to leave inside original as it was when it was in service with the stenciling and such since the inside paint is not in too...
