wavvvvvvvvvvyyyyyyyyyyyyy sidewall means absolutely nothing as far as safety is concerned. been in the tire industry for 23 yrs. and have seen this from time tire is new until it's wore out with no problem. If you don't feel safe running them pm me and I'll take them off your hands. LOL
If I remember correctly the hole with the plug is just a holder for the plug. if going through deep water take it out of its present location and put it in the other hole.
my truck has the shake also. i'm a frontend man by trade and checked everything on the frontend and it's all good. put on 2 new tires and made an 70% improvement. only does it once in a while now. I kind of feel like it is a tire balance issue.
Man that truck is killer! some people don't know when to just shut up and keep their opinions to themselves. But opinions are like other things -everybody has one! great job. really love the chop.

thanks
Thanks everybody for your response. nothing like the words of somebody that has been there aand done that-whatever the case may be. And a big thank you to Deuceman51 for some great-straightforward advice that he put on me in English so I could understand!:-D
nothing else to buy-just screw out the old one and in with the new. these are really easy to oerate they are almost like a ball on the pull end it will pull easily in any direction.;-)
still happen to have the package-part # is 12105. the label on the plastic doesn't say napa but says Haldex. when my buddy punched in the part # it came up with the price. so it should be a NAPA part #.
I just bought 2 air tank drains from NAPA each has about 4 ft. of cable so you can put them where you want them. about 20.00 for the pair . they work great. no more bending under the truck to drain.:-D
I was hoping to lube the pack but unless I'm missing something there's no way to lube this one- no square plug on the back. am I wrong? any pics outthere of the newstyle installed on the truck. may want to just swap over since valve in my pack is stuck.
wanted to pick some of your brains. why does this air pack on my deuce not look like other deuce air packs? master cylinder looks rite best I can tell. have a brake problem and need to rebuild airpack but I realized it looks different from other 2.5 ton airpacks I have seen.
any ideas?
thanks...
loud 5th gear
Don't believe there is much to worry about. Mine hsa done this since I have owned it. many miles later still the same noise and no problems. If I'm not mistaken it is the gear mesh. Have had older cars and trucks in the shop and made similar noises esp. in 5th gear.
