M1009 4inch Lift - Tires Wheels Bolt Pattern Offset???

With rough country you won't need to worry about it flexing as much as bds, ord, or tuff country.

M1009 4inch Lift - Tires Wheels Bolt Pattern Offset???

On a lift with a lot of flex, like bds or ord, 33s will rub with a 4" lift.

M1009 4inch Lift - Tires Wheels Bolt Pattern Offset???

I would stick with the 4'' lift and I would not do 35'' tires. I put at 4'' ORD lift on my m1009 and some 33x12.5R15 on the original rims and it works great. I would not go with a 3'' lift because, with a flexey lift like BDS or ORD, you will still rub those 33s with a 4'' lift.

    M1009 Seat Bracket

My passenger seat bracket is in need of replacement. Its bent and broken and just all around sucktacular. Does anyone have any sources or aftermarket sources? I found some sweet conversion van seats at a yard sale that I"m thinking about fitting into the blazer.

    Low Coolant Light

The low coolant light on my 1009 was intermittently coming on for a while and now it's on permanently. There is plenty of coolant in the radiator and the overflow jug, what causes this? Should I replace the sensor, clean it, or any other super secret tricks I should know about? ETA: I do know...

    What's in my radiator?

I cleaned the overflow jug and it hasn't come back. I'm guessing something was in there from its past life.

For the people asking if a turbo is a worthwhile upgrade....

I have to test mine too. I asked the guy and he said they all pass, so I think it's just more revenue enhancement.

Why is my resistor missing and this wire hooked up like this?

Search "resistor bypass" for the info you're looking for. The reason to do it is now your glow plugs won't have a cascading failure if one goes bad. Now that it's done you want to buy AC Delco 60g glow plugs when/if you replace the existing plugs. You'll also need to splice on some new...

    Realign steering wheel after lifting

Is it possible to realign the steering wheel by taking it off flipping it over and putting it back on? Or does the drag link have to be adjusted?

    Those with 4inch lift

I just finished my ORD 4'' lift and I did not drop the transfer case. I had driveshaft vibrations so I used 6 degree shims to shim the rear diff DOWN to make the transfer case and diff on parallel planes. This solved my vibration issues.
