I had the Mr Gasket 12D on my M1008 on frame rail. It was on a toggle switch. I used it for back-up and filter changes cause I had already installed a new Mech. pump.
The mech. pump works just fine. But I may install the electrical pump on my M1009 as back-up again being its not on my M1008...

Running a wire from the front batt. inside the truck will only take 10min with a few zip ties and connectors.

You should be able to get most items any parts store. Regular replacement parts should last. You should be able to buy everthing for a regular K-5 Blazer. The whole 3/4 rating thing is basiclly just the rear spring rating I think.

So you took the 6.2 with the original 24v starter out a m1008 and put it in your civy crew cab and reinstalled it. Your crew cab is 12v as you stated. But your starter is still the same 24v that came from the CUCV. Am I missing something?

Im using 550 cord tied in a hitch on the end of the antenna which is tied to the passenger side brush gaurd. I have extra slack to tighten and loosen as needed.
