You want to have the funds to pay for it upfront,no borrowing. Plus in my experience you should have about 1k in the bank for when something breaks. I did not do this and trust me you really want to have the funds for a rainy day.

Not greatly known ,But if you take a rag and some GM trans fluid and wipe your tires down it helps to prevent dry rot.

Archmark; I would suggest to pull the radiator and remove the end caps and blow the rad out, also do the same with the trans cooler. I had this same problem in my truck and After it was all said and done I wish I would've just did as I described.

Sounds like you have the same "luck" that I do! Everything I do takes about 20x's longer than it should!

Where did you get it? Fairly costly or relatively affordable?
