Okay, i was wondering because there was nothing in the TMs that said anything about the flywheel other than the friction plates bolted onto it (if I was reading the diagrams and such correctly) thanks guys quick and knowledgeable help as always [thumbzup]
So Im using the deuce as my topic for a research paper in my manual drivetrains class and one of the points is what type of flywheel is on the vehicle, ive used the search and come up with nothing, so the question is:
Does the deuce use a dualmass flywheel? Or is it a singlemass?
Thanks in...
I'm leaning towards either timing issue or some massive blow-by in all cylinders, which I kinda doubt, have you checked for obvious fuel in oil? Good luck and let us know what you find in there Gimp :grd:
Station 19 in hockessin has an hmmwv for a brush fire vehicle, dont remember the specifics, but they like to trot it out anytime they're trying to get more volunteers
I will never understand what posses people in small vehicles to dart infront of largeer ones, I think that it might have to do with a lack of knowledge about weight and such  . I would never think of darting my 6,000lbs bronco infront of a 13,000+ deuce or anything else for that matter, I...
Was just reading on their site, they don't have any instructions for using both, would this be a apart one then the other, or a mix the two together and spray as one situation? I'm not too smart when it comes to the properties of these things mixed or as wholes
I have this issue as well while on my PC, it's been that way for months as I recall, if I take more than 15 minutes replying and/or reading, the next action I do (next page, post, ect.) it logs me out, I've gotten in the habit of copying my post before submitting as a just in case for the log...
It sounds, just like you said, like you have a connection issue, there's enough connection for things not drawing too much current ( gauge, fuel pump) but not enough for the high current needed for the starter, check/ replace battery/starter connections where needed, after that if you still have...
Just a suggestion. Since I'm not sure if the tracks around you are closed for the year.
Why not have some one in the truck with you with a gps and stop watch, take the Ark out on a highway really late so it's basically deserted, pull into the shoulder, have co-pilot set up and on his mark pull...
Thanks for the advice guys, I wasn't quite sure which TM it was, I have all the deuce operator, engine, and trans TMs. Sounds like for cheap durability it's krylon fusion.
If it was more around summer I'd be doing that, but I assume the winter might be a tad cold while waiting on a new top to...
When I pick up my deuce here in the next 2 weeks, I want to quickly get to work on repainting the soft top cab cover, although it currently has a camo top, it's a tad leaky so George offered at no extra charge to put a brand new top on it.... But it's tan, I deffinatly want it because it's free...
Just looked this up in DE, its a "Special Fuel Users Liscense" and its $10 for the ap, but you need a $5,000 min surety bond as well.....anyone think its worth it?
Well as it sits, I just need a "right Now" value, already told the insurance company I payed 4600, so they valued it at 5k, but as far as I know, DE DMV wont take the agents word for it. I pretty much need an NADA type value for it, but of course, NADA has no idea what it is :cookoo:
*GASP* could it be? The worlds fastest DRAG DEUCE :twisted::drool::twisted::drool::twisted:
That would really be a sight to see, I myself would have a really hard time trying to not test that theory
Great build thread though, cant wait to see the rest, and I think I speak for...
In my finally closed insurance adventure I found that the majority of State Farm agents will give everything short of their first-born to get you a good rate, heck, my girlfriends SF agent undercut my buddys SF agent by a few bucks so he won the battle for my business :-D
Wish you the best in...
well I just got off the phone with the used car guy at NuCar Hummer  he said that he cant do it, though if he could he'd be more than happy too, but to call DMV back tomorrow and see if they will take the bill of sale as the appraised value, if thats the case, ill only be paying about 170...
