When I put the 11.00X20 on the M35, the first 100 or so miles was ROUGH. They had been on a forestry service M211 that had been sitting for years... But then they were fine, singled out and 50psi.

Yes, the oil palm is about 650gals an acre. Bjorn, that's why I want to grow all my own fuel, instead of buying foodstuffs to convert. Didn't know about how pure you need the Ethanol, just a thought.
RE: Re: RE: Methanol up again....
Bjorn, I have heard that Ethanol can be used to produce bio, is that correct? solve your methanol supply problem- build a still!
I'm going to use the pecan trees on my property for oil- one acre of trees will produce about 200gal of oil. I'm going to...
Sad that the loss of money has to make them ACT like responsible citizens...
That I might have had to sacrifice my life during my 8yrs in the Navy to protect those pig headed council members... Disgusts me. aua

Shhhh.... I'm getting a m818 tractor, one way or another, and it's 'wife approved' rofl
I have noticed that as well... Too bad I spent more on a trailer the other day then I could have gotten a tractor in TN for! Oh well, as you say, there are plenty more coming up. I'll get one, only a matter...
Mike, glad you made it back safe and sound.
My M38a1 is a rust bucket- not much of the body can be saved. the floor boards were layered over twice... and they left the rusted stuff underneath, so it just rusted out what they put on it. She runs good though...
I guess to prevent terrorism and protect America, we should just outlaw all vehicles, period. Then the terrorists would have to carry all their weapons of mass destruction by hand, so we can see 4 guys toting around a nuke...
In the interest of national security, back to horses everybody!
Make sure it is a momentary toggle, or else bad things might happen...
Not sure of the amp draw through the switch to the solenoid. Better find that out too. switches should work fine for 24vdc even if they say 12, just don't overload the amp rating.
Robyn, welcome aboard!
Hi! I'm Ferro, aka Adam!
I drive trains, and old military trucks. And sometimes old military trains. [thumbzup]
We'll be good to you I promise. Glad to know that we can hear from the other side of the fence now. Should make the GL grumbling calm down some when we can...
I know who to call if I ever need a locomotive moved in Ohio...
Nice looking rig! bet the fuel costs are high too. There was the same truck and trailer combo but tan that I could see every time I ran the train out near the major railyard, but now the trailer is gone and it is just the truck...
I was looking for one of those for a while, thought it would make a great trailer for my forklift- sold the forklift so I guess I don't need one. Lane, there are a few over in Portsmouth I think I saw them the last time I was there. Don't know when or if they will be coming up for auction.
That looks really nice. Great idea, but I could see the screen getting clogged with dirt that found its way into your box on your tools.
Looks really good!
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Speedometer calibration.
I forgot to mention that it didn't seem to go over 2500 even when I had the 9.oox20s on there. I'm no good at math. -:( It just seemed slow to me. Yes, I get the idea of less revolutions = more distance traveled with bigger tires.
Just seemed low...

Riddle me this- Garmin says 62mph, speedo says 55- I was running 11.00x20s so I can understand this- but the tach says 2400rpm. That can't be right, can it?
I thought it was...
