Did you consider a Turbo theres plenty of threads on that. You can look into marine injectors and turn up the I.P. a little 1/8-1/4 turn. And maybe cold air induction.

they run around $15-$50 depending on what you need it for. Do a search on here about Converters i seen a few threads.

Heres my sound system install in my M1009. Dual purpose and no cutting on the dash. The entire set up can be removed in 5 mins. 4-speakers,1-sub,1-amp,1-stereo. I built and installed all this in 2 hrs.
You still dont have to cut any wires. Mines on push button only. I pulled the Glowplug module out and I did everything in the diagram i posted. Im using AC60g glow plugs. I turn the key on and push the button for 3 seconds 3 times each for a cold start and the truck fires up everytime.
Dont cut the blue wire. Run a new wire to your switch from the blue wire on the relay or spice into it. And the other side of the switch to ground and your done. If you leave the blue wire intact everything will work normal and you can use the button as a back up if needed.

What would you use this for. A buddy of mine has something like this on his Jeep
Its a bicycle part(clutch-brake)cable. The lever was mounted on the shifter and the other end of the cable to the throttle. Could be dangerous if used in the wrong way.

That 84 is sounding like a good deal especially if he put new tranny in. Sounds like you like that one more. Dont let a little floor pan rust scare you away. I had a few 1/8" rust pin holes in mine. I just put a little bondo on it and hurculined coated over the top and...
Just wanted to share some pics of my rattle can job. (Rapco paint) I bought a case of mixed 383 green and brown, and 911 black and painted my M1009 and M101A2 and still got a can or two left. I did the m1009 one day and the M101A2 another. Did both in a few hours. The trailer took a little more...

Do you have a local 4x4 offroad shop near by? I went to my local shop and they gave me a pair for dirt cheap that they took off a vehicle. People take brand new vehicles in and strip off the stock stuff to put new lifts on and most of the take off parts go to waste. I got Rancho shocks from...
