    Deuce power steering conversion

It's been said the engine has to be "moved" to get the old steering box out. How did you deal with this, and did you have to move it to put the new one in? It's a very nice job!

    not really a rant but

And I thought -I- was a dictator! Can I be Vice President? I would like to help fix the social programs and banking system! I promise you I will fix the South border, the welfare blight and remove the drain on our social services caused by illegals. My fence along the south border will be...

    Tennessee Adventure About to Begin

That's quite a story! I wish I had been able to follow along daily, my computer time is reduced!! I saw the repair, super good advice of the compression fitings, I will add them to my kit. I dimly recall a repair or two last time I took out over the road. But for every roadside inconvenience...

    Now These Are Brakes !

Nice.. now you can lock up the brakes! There is a kit used by the military for ABS on these, to prevent loss of control when empty. An empty 5T with air brakes on the back is touchy.

really OLD NOS headlights -good for backup lights??

Good!! I just didn't want to waste a set of experimental WWII halftrack lights or something. These have a nice rectangular beam. They were among the many many buried items at Nortex. The 5000 sq. ft. building was piled from floor to ceiling with defunct electronics equipment, with only narrow...

really OLD NOS headlights -good for backup lights??

I finally got off my butt and did some more work on the truck. I can't see too good, and have always needed backup lights. I backed over a nissan pickup once in the dark because I couldn't see it, and it cost alot of $ to fix. After putting these on, I realized how pristinely NOS they are, and...
