BBoomerBootcamp that sounds like a plan but what are you going to lift? I will use mine to pick tanks, set I beams, etc. Just wanted a frame that was all wheel drive. Next mod will be lockers!

Yes it is a knuckle boom off the a MK 17 I purchased reciently. I didn't think that it would be as heavy as it is. Wish I had a five ton!

I am guessing the weight at three tons and It looks like a wajax crane to me but there are no name plates. Sorry for the dark pics when it is light out I will take more.

Finally made time to put the crane on a duece. Got the bed off. Cut the mounts in the front, removed fuel tank and tire mount. Set the crane on the frame. Looks like it is going to need some serious bracing b4 use. Just thought I would share a pic. Still a lot of work to go!

I had an non turbo multifuel ldt465 that leaked oil into the combustion chamber and would hydrolock the motor when accelerating or under load but would idle fine. Let it sit for 10 minutes and would run and drive, then do it again. Never tore it apart but could have been valve seals or broke...

Recieved my sf97 and I think the manufacture date is wrong. vin is 87k1887104010473 but the sf97 says 1971 Am General m35a2. Is it a 1987? Truck was bought from gov liq 6/23/08 from Fort Jackson SC, Dual Brake setup:razz:. Thanks for the help.

Got the unit home. Paid Jimmy Wrecker service there at Lejune to bring it home. ;-)

Thought I would either put the crane on one of my dueces or cut the rear off a duece and weld the mk17 to the duece front. Got to get it home first!
