Thanks David, Mo andMike for the info, I will not run it until its right. Funny ,It never occurred to be about the amount of pressure to the carb.I was just happy to have a tank and pump that didnt leak, I learn something new every day from this site abt these trucks. Thanks for the help.
sorry for the repeat of last set. Later I did jeep over a second time, added full cab and new plow and made some money.
Had to sell later to get money to go in business, time for toys was over. Got married, bought house , all in two years, WHEW!

Thats a good flare tool, Ive got to get one, the depth gauge takes the guesswork out. To long an end it may split, to short, not enough contact to seal.My 2 cents.

I called Memphis , they said no on tanks. They were out and had nothing new.Anyone know a source for new tanks for the 52 XM211? Or a good used one?Would a M211 pump fit in the M35 tank?
I think they had a square plate screwed to the tank vs. the round one .Getting discouraged !
I put a dielel M35 fuel tank on my M211 gasser. Is the pump about the same? I bench tested it and can hear it run. Installed it so will there be any problems to pump gasoline with it to the Gmc 302 engine? I couldnt find a good M211 gas tank, so this was the only thing I could do.The fill is on...
