Thanks guys, I will start the check up. Tires look fairly new, shocks look brand new, it has 6200 miles with even tire wear. Other than the shimmy/wobble feel at cetain speeds - she drives nice! Definetly easier than the A2. (threw that comment in their to divide the deuce owners, thus creating...
Anyone have a shimmy at around 35-40 mph in their M35A3?
Any ideas? The shaking goes right up the steering shaft. Turning the wheels slightly to right and left seems to lessen the issue, or until I either go faster or slow down....
I just want you cats to know that as an LEO, I wouldnt pull you over!
And for the record, I work with a couple attorneys who also happen to be cops...imagine getting stopped by a coplawyer! Also work with a cop who is a doctor.
just make sure you have a license plate light, all lights and...
i am specifically looking for info on anyone who has done the conversion. This is purely an exterior / interior mod. The running gear is staying stock. I could care less how this transformation affects the value of the H1...my three 8 year olds need a ring mount in their hummer :)
Aside from...
I'll probably mod the nos gauge assembly then totake 12 volt gauges. Im gonna gut this beast. Dont care about leaks...it already does that. Anyone have a source for a slant back? Gonna mod my own a/c ducts change civy doors out, etc etc...
Has anyone converted a civilian H1 wagon to a military slant back? If so, any info would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry if this is redundant as the search on my smart phone doesnt work.
I like all military vehicles. And when I need an opinion, I usually seek it from someone that has had the vehicle. An A2 is fun, I've had two of em. The A3 is fun. I have one of the 6000 or so made. Its nice to have a selection of vehicles to drive...an option for people on the fence is to buy...
My Alpha 3 was won from govliquidation on 03/25/2011, immdeiately sent EUC in, EUC approved in less than 2 weeks, and the truck was delivered from Wisconsin to San Diego today. 04/18/2011. My truck stated it was driven onto lot. And my truck works fine. I would transport it, as if you breakdown...
The beast arrived just a few minutes ago! I live in San Diego and won the auction in Sparta, Wisconsin. I arranged transport through Hotshot Transportation (Eric), who found me a transport for $3000.00. The trip was a little over 2000 miles. It was picked up last Friday and took three days to...

A lesson learned! Always double check a mechanic's work. Picked up the M35A2 yesterday, a beautiful truck, and was driving from Palm Dale to San Diego. 150 miles into the trip the Oil pressure went to zero, so I pull it over. The upper oil drain plug was missing...yes there are two! My poor...
The photo attached to my name is the second jeep I built. The first was a project my dad suggested. He also suggested I do a body off frame restoration so I would learn everything about the vehicle. I had to use a manual, read everything I could get my hands on, and was self reliant on this...
