I'm going to install a PTO and winch, and am building a custom aluminum camper unit that slides in the back.still need to get an intercom and a radio or two(got a PRC-77)
Good idea, the switches I use are mil spec aviation grade so they are completely sealed already but the rubber would look good.
From left to right there is a on-off-on switch for the red/white floorboard and dome lights, next is a 71/2 amp circuit breaker for lighting/control power, next is an...
I just finished a set of bows, I used white oak and built a steam box to curve the cross pieces. I got lucky and found some really good oak at a lumber reclamation yard in town.
The steam box is easy to make. Here's a link http://www.ceolas.org/instruments/bodhran/santin/MakeBox.htm

Raychem makes a splice system that consists of clear blue heatshrink, gel seals at each end and a solder ring in the middle.just strip the wire and use a heat gun, it's that simple and completely waterproof. We use them in on aircraft all the time.
Sounds like you need a step bolt, out here we have an outfit called Tacoma Screw, they have a website http://www.tacomascrew.com/
they might have what you need.

Took everything apart line wise this afternoon.Brake lights went out, soon as I put everything back together and built up air pressure, lights back on , brakes locked again:cry:
Here are a few pics of what I've been doing, the red/white lights are secondary instrument lights from a UH-1N but they make great floorboard lights. The switches control the dome/floorboard lights, 24 VDC non-essential bus and 12 VDC non-essential bus. the circuit breaker is for the control...
My wife bought me a 67 J/K M35A2 (whatta gal!) a couple of months ago for my birthday. I've been doing extensive modifications to the electrical systems.
since I was an AE I'm using lots of aviation parts, map lights, relays, switches and such.(go with what you know) I'll post some pics later on...
That's true, a lot we used were crimp but we still liked the solder type better.and best of all you can always solder a crimp pin.
