I want to put a pto driven hydraulic pump for my dump bed- but I also wanted a winch. I know they make double ended PTOs, but they are hard to find and expensive. So the thought of having the hydro pto, and driving either the bed or the winch off it sounds nice. One problem I see- unless you...
Gimpy, would a caddy 500 fit the tranny in a M211?
If it does, I will be seriously pissed- I sold a nice running 500 a couple of years ago after it was just sitting in my garage for years. aua
Keep it. I bought an M211 from GSA, and was going to sell it. But now I think I'll keep it as it is...
Judging from the look of those rails, there were NO trains that could make it without derailing to hit the truck. Just because it has rubber wheels on it in the photo doesn't mean they didn't take the tires off and put rail wheel rims on. There were actually sets of railroad rims manufactured...
Pretty cool, time to play everyone's favorite game, where are the rails and are we still on them!
Sad part is some of the line I run trains on looks just like that...
I'll add some pics soon.
It has been done- Dad towed a M211 about 20miles with a dodge diesel 2500- not to bad, never went over 45 though. I've also towed the M211 with an M35- at 55mph about 70miles. Did just find, don't remember feeling anything except slower to get up to speed and more stopping distance. Made lots of...
I'm looking for an M127 trailer, there are several available in Aberdeen, MD. Has anyone gone to look at them?
Also, if someone could maybe pickup and/or store one for a little while near there, I would really appreciate it.
Please PM me if you can help in either way, info or storage/recovery...
At least you didn't try and leave through any buildings...
The Army still hasn't sent me a bill, starting to worry. My luck they will calculate every penny of inflation...
Mike,
I know that the fuel burning heaters aren't really unique. I just thought the fact that a tractor would have one just to heat its own cab, which happens to have a very large heat producing item already protruding in it, makes that setup unique.
Just set that burner up outside on the...
Hey Clinto,
I had to buy a program to copy it off my film based (I know, I'm living in the dark ages) video camera to the computer. I will cross it over if the program ever gets here...
Sad thing is, I didn't take nearly as much video as I thought, or wanted to take.
Re: New jacket fo rthe Ole M37
You must have some low standards.
Just kidding, I think a seabee M37 would be cool. Can't wait to see photos of your progress!
