I heard VERY few people attended the auction. (Maybe it was like the auction for the rally.... come on guys, do I hear $5? ok, we'll throw in the M35 too... anyone?)
Dad (herc69) and I rolled in around 2100 in Columbia, SC. We got on the road last night around 1900, drove until 2200, spend the night around Fredericksburg. Had an issue right inside of NC, lost our alternator. I suddenly smelled burning wires (not good :? ) and noticed the voltmeter in the low...
RE: Re: Info on Vacuum line
It was a pleasure Mike, just wish you weren't so far away!
We were chasing those gremlins in the wiring harness for about 2 hrs.... found lots of cuts and nics that we repaired, but it was only after we cornered them all in the horn that we were victorious over the...
RE: Bearing sets
I have an old hydraulic pump from an electric forklift- it is a decent size pump, with a 36volt motor.
Now, I know running the pump on 24v would work, and would heat it up conciderably, but if you only had to run it for 15-30 seconds first....
Boo rain... Guess we will load up the tarps and such.
My dad wants to do a chili night for Aberdeen, I know the BBQ is on Friday night, so what do you guys think about Thurs. or Sat. night for chili?
Also, we are bringing a projector and DVD player, so if you guys want to watch some movies in...
Frank,
They also must have dragged it out from sitting next to mine, as there were big skid marks and then treads... The GL guy laughed and said that whoever pulled it out finally realized he had left the parking brake on....
Hope it isn't damaged too bad. Our M109 was missing the forward...
I'd put money down that it runs.... Lots of ingenious people live in small towns... and when they get bored, they play around....
Those rams are pretty clean looking and the rust is just surface on the treads... Plus it looks like a splattering of oil under the rear- a little more...
You're right FrankUSMC,
It is just a M211 that the forestry commission put a rather heavy walled tank on the back, a pump, and a hose rack. Didn't really mess with the bed much, they did weld the tank in but it could all be ground off and the bed put right. It is amazingly straight- hardly any...
I sure hope not! :( I am kind of worried about that, but I put a M880 out there too, so it can act as the sacrificial lamb. I figure anyone who goes out there might take stuff of a dodge truck than a more obscure large truck. Maybe from a distance they will think it is the fire dept. It is way...
Yeah, my dad's neighbors just loved it when we pulled the M211 and M880 out and up to the land.
Then the next day we returned with an M109.... Oh well! If they don't like it they can feel free to move away! [thumbzup]
Or try and drive with the parking brake on while towing an M109.... Ferro- 'dad, what's that smell?' Herc 'opps, parking brake on. No wonder we could barely hit 35mph....'
It would barely hold it before, now not at all. Glad to know that there is a place to take up more slack.
