Worked on the truck this afteroon. I made up a filter system out of two 5 ton fuel filters and a 24 volt generator fuel pump. Uaed a NATO slave cable from the truck to get power.

Update.... I had a fuel problem and had to return back to the house. All safe.

I filled up in Ocala off my transfer tank(my wife and son filled it up for me before I took off from the house...I think they dumped two, 5 gal cans of bad fuel/water into the tank that I had...
Well its time to go and pickup that 2000 CUCV-II Crew Cab that I won back in April.
Worked on my CUCV-II and Gooseneck Trailer all day.
I had to replace all the brakes on the trailer(replaced with complete kit, 4 each)and fix a bad ground wire on the lights.
I installed a 110 gallon transfer...
Getting the truck ready for the road trip to CA. I'll be pulling a 20ft gooseneck trailer so I had to remove the troop seats in the bed of the truck.
Truck looks plain now that they are out.
I will also be installing a 110 gal transfer tank in the bed.

When I was a Tech at the OMS, I had to rebuild or replace the foot brake pedal a lot. Water in the brake system was the problem(not draining the air tanks)
The rubber o-rings inside the foot pedal would get gunked-up and let air pass through. Take it apart and clean/lube the o-rings.

You my keep the good guys in check with locks and chains, but if the bad guys want it bad enought they will get it. Best to lock it up and hide it out of sight. Make it not easy to get at.

This is the same cable that is used on the M936 wrecker. (in the TM 9-2320-272-10 for the M936 it has a lenght of 95 feet 5 inch)
