Welcome to Steel Soldiers, I was stationed at Fort Devens as a second lieutenant up in your neck of the woods.
That deuce was last marked by the 99th RSC which is the US Army Reserve Command that absorbed the 99th 97th and other commands back in the 90's The 400 MP Brigade was one of the...
I know when I was in Barcelona the local Spanish people had bad feelings for the Moroccans because they brought drugs into their country, stole things and every day on the highway southbound you would see cars packed full and piled high on top. My friends told me these are mostly Moroccans...
If you can get to this You do not want to miss it
My Son, his girlfriend and I had a blast on this a couple of years ago if you can make this it is a great time of driving and friendship.
You will get a little wet
Very Nice mine had all the lights stripped off and many bolts removed. Adam was kind enough to bring it up to my home but I have not laid eyes on it. I am quite sure mine has a newer rebuilt engine in it too. Does yours have the electronic ignition? Judging from the pictures you must be a...
We had a propane Allis Chalmers tractor on our farm that was I believe factory equipt to burn the fuel. I recall it running all day long without fuel stops and we had a big propane tank for cooking and running the refrigerator as well.
This was many moons ago so the pictures are all in my mind

Almost all big truck engines with compressors use a similar lubrication system. I one bought one cheap made a base plate with fill hole and used it as an engine driven compressor. Worked great.
I would keep it for sure perhaps make a neat camper out of it and I like the idea of a reliable detroit 6-71 in the truck. Did they also put in a Roadranger transmission or does it still have the original one in it? It does have a one of a kind look to it for going to shows
Wow Great thread and like the SS guy who wants to build one like it I say Woo Hoo sounds great. I would think one of those Camp Shelby M818's would make an awesome bob job with a diesel to boot.
Any thoughts of adding a winch to your truck?
RE: Re: RE: new Mule for 21st Century
Unfortunately I have no other pictures since it is a prototype and I am currently deployed. You can join the AUSA and you get free admission or go as a guest of one of the Soldiers you know. If you go in uniform you get in free too. I am a life member of...
I agree you can even take some good but not new ones and take the time to install them. If you are driving it home and the alternator is not good you will still have brake lights and turn signals on the battery power. Be safe, have fun and take pictures.
Way To go this just keeps getting better. I am with ADR keep the picks of the kahoonas private....
I really like the powder coat very good way to protect it. I agree on the saving bucks advice my 98 Burb is doing fine and paid for.
You picked up a DVE what a great find you will love the view...
I have got to say I support all your propositions.
Add to this that anyone who commits a crime has to pay the vic and do the time.
No big fancy jails either a 40 foot walled enclave at the end of the international airport runway with tents to live in and day old food to eat. Cottage...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Fuel milage w 465-1d M35A2 W/W
OK I know this has been talked about ad nauseum but if I am going to put hubs on and not get better milage why would I? I know the basic steering issues and wear and tear on the driveline but I was hoping that a milage boost would be in the...
