Question... what is the current status of this engine? (respectfully) I am having very similar conditions, oil cooler and a head has been replaced, and still loosing coolant to oil pan... Debating investing the time/money to this engine vs engine swap.

old old post, but I'm searching and wanted to ask... my rear running lights are very bright, when the brake light comes on its the same brightness... so its hard to see brake lights. is it possible to have a higher watt bulb in the running light position? I have not opened them up to check, so...

I'm not showing any change in oil, it still looks good, when I drove it home the first time it was 100 miles, never got over 190. It sat for a week, I wanted to run it, so I warmed it up, drove about 2 miles and it went to 210. Let it cool off, put 3 gallons of 50/50 in it, I'm guessing it...

I'm loosing coolant, and getting a little milkshake residue under the valve cover cap... It doesn't drip anything only has a slight weep on drivers side front cylinder, but the slobber tube is starting to vent more of what looks like steam... I've only had it a couple weeks, previous owner...

Well, hopefully i'll get to dig into my engine tomorrow. I've searched and read and search and check and finally feel fairly confident that I could do it. Plus, my son-in-law is here, so maybe he can give me a hand. I need to find a local shop to check/mil the heads, buy a 7/8x1/2 torque...

so its a little tight to get up in there....??? looking forward to it... any advise you could pass on to make it easier.?

i guess a grease fitting could be tapped into the base...
