HELP!!! 12VDC Trailer Lights on 24VDC Deuce

I do the same thing, only towing 24vdc trailers with 12vdc trucks- Change the bulbs out with 24vdc bulbs! The bulbs are exactly the same, just 24vdc! It does take a little time, 10 min or so, but it works like a charm, no fancy electronics, no additional wiring or lights. Just change them back...

    Biodiesel in the beginning

Do what I do- Burn some bio in a generator to heat your mix. No open flame + Methanol, = NO BOOM. (not that I've done that too...) I charge some batteries or unplug the freezer from the grid and put it on the gen for a good load on the gen. Burns about 1/2 gallon for the 3 hours. And...

    white smoke and no power

Our Navy Diesel school taught me this- White smoke is usually coolent, or sometimes oil. Oil is usually gray or blue. Unburned fuel is black. If the engine isn't getting enough air it will spew black smoke too. Fuel usually is black....:? I would check the injectors too, just in case.

Good Audio file about Multifuel engine

So, it says you could bypass the fuel compensator and adjust the injector pump for diesel only, with better mileage as a result? Anyone attest to that fact? And how much additional mileage could it add? would it even be worthwhile? Me, I've been brewing biodiesel for my Dodge 2500 for a couple...

    needle scaler

I used to duct tape the handle down, put on some goggles and hearing protection, wedge myself in between the fire pump and seawater service pump in the auxiliary engine room, and go to sleep for about 2 hours needle gunning the same 6in square on the base of one of the pumps... Probably...

    railroad picture

Hmmm... If I could sneak out behind one of those trains with another engine, and steal the last few cars off of it.... Worst part about shipping stuff like that out in the open is people love to throw things at the train. Also, when they used to haul cars in the open auto racks...
