    VIC-1 Install

Well, finally installed the VIC-1 system I ordered. I used a mt1029 radio mount under the passenger bench for power, and then the standard AM1780 amp with 2 crew stations. I plan on adding 2 more to the system once I get the parts. It worked out pretty well. My deuce is a soft top so I didn't...

    CVC Lower Cable

Does anyone have any idea where I could pick up a couple spaghetti cables that connect a CVC to a VIC-1 system? I have been looking everywhere and can't find them.

    Took my deuce across America

That's a good write up. As I was reading I was wondering when you were going to have to change out the right front. Keeping them both at 60 PSI seems to help.

    PNW-2011-Third Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Convoy&Campout

Awww just think Ed, it just added a funny chapter to the movie story. I doubt I will be bringing "mostly ATF" next time. More like mostly old farm oil.

    PNW-2011-Third Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Convoy&Campout

I need one here to load the barrels into. I just don't want the mess in the back of my truck again. I have glad hands this time too. No more screaming deuces to power the pumps.

    PNW-2011-Third Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Convoy&Campout

I will be there of course. This time without bald tires and a radio mount w/vic-1 for extra fun. I doubt I will be able to source a PRC-77 in time but I will have a slot if we want coms. I will have the Family in tow this time with a mini van. (Not in the convoy. We'll pile everyone in the...

The Deuce as my backup generator

I just got a great 6k off of craigslist for 300 dollars. I can't think of an easier way to do it. Starts on the first pull and does 240 for a house hookup. If you just got a small genset you could bring it along if you wanted it in your deuce or just set it by the house and you don't have to...

    Overkill Customs M920 Build

Man! you drove right by me. It would have been a riot with my neighbors had you stopped by. I could have been like "seee what I could have. The duece isn't that big!" Are you gonna bring that on the convoy next Summer? Where is your business at in Spokane? I am up there all the time.

    Insurance Tip

I insured mine as a farm vehicle through progressive. I can haul anything I want in it can drive it every day if I want. The only restriction is to mostly use it within 50 mile radius. I can take it further then that but just not all the time. When I asked specifically about this restriction...
