you have 3 deuces and dont know how to drain the air tanks? Smokes.. I am glad your 1000 miles away from me.
Mine if I let it sit over night is at 0 PSI even if I dont drain the tanks. you should be running 100-120 PSI when the engine is running/driving down the road. if not its not a leak if...
:ditto: Welding is not a fool proof way.... that big of a truck and low gearing is asking for a massive explosion of gears and other very important parts.
That is good thinking there FNMV! There have been members with issues just like you stated above. I replaced my rubber lines a few years ago and that solved my problem.. but I will look at the pick up tube for sure!
Your truck looks good for sure and I like the looks of the NDCC's (not NDT's) I am sure the 11:00 would do better due to the weight rating. A CUCV on a 11:00 is like a match box car on a regular tire. There just no load. I still would not over run a tire like that. I am glad you have had no...
you can install 9x16's or so but why? It would handle like crap and might be really unsafe. NDCC or NDT tires are only rated to 55 MPH and for 2 hours at a time... you could too ez over run that tire and it could fail.
Well I want to get a set of hubs... I ordered a set from Summit racing but they were on back order for 31 days...... so I canned the order.
I can get AVM from CC today or the Selectro from a different suppler
But what hub is better? Do the AVM's really stick out?
What do you guys think?

That is burning oil smoke. Valve seals or oil rings on the pistons. If it goes away after warm up no big deal. Just let her warm up for a couple min before you start driving down the road.
