    Good Brakes... Thanks GOD!!!!

What a bunch of thankless, world-be-d@mned youngsters we have these days. She cuts in front of you, taking not just her life, but yours also, into her hands and she has the audacity to flip you the "bird". What a b-yatch.

    Stopped by the NCSHP

Prior to purchasing my 5 ton I consulted with parking and commercial enforcement representatives of my local PD. I also reviewed all applicable sections of the state vehicle code. I just didn't want any real surprises after delivery.

    I love trucks

    More sound resonance[thumbzup].

    I love trucks

roflMine too. But are you referring to the driver or bodily expulsions. Also, throw in a hint of treated canvas for "aroma therapy". I told my son that one rule for riding in the 5 ton is to share his gas freely with the seat cushion.

    Had a interesting visitor

Did you feel honored that his PC was sheer delight and curiosity?? A hobby is only at its best when one is willing and able to share it with others. Especially when it brings back fond memories for people.

    Stopped by the NCSHP

:ditto:Yeah. Haven't quite figured that one out either. Had a neighbor about ten years ago, a real doofus, who bought one of those land ship bus-size diesel pusher motor homes. On his maiden voyage , no driver's training, mind you, he took it up a mountain windy road. And, yep, you guessed it...

    Stopped by the NCSHP

Obviously the LEO you encountered is not a former military member. If an MV ever drove through my area, I would give him a personal escort. Where is the love?? A commercial enforcement officer from my town related a story to me about a time he towed a guy's deuce because he was driving "out of...

    2010 Olympics

Nice, very nice[thumbzup]. I have always thought that the M135 is the best of the M35 and the CCKW rolled into one. I like the elegant curved slope of the hood and the unusual cab roof lines. Drive proud my good man.

    M813 Spotted Today

Saw that same truck at Torrance, CA during Armed Forces weekend back last May on display.

USMC Silent Drill Platoon in So. Cal.

I don't really know. I received my info from a guy I work with. He had a flyer that had been emailed to him. He gave to Marine that we both work with and that is when I heard about the event. The only other drill team that I have seen in person was the Air Force Drill Team back at Ft. Hood back...

USMC Silent Drill Platoon in So. Cal.

Yes, God willing and the creek don't rise. I'd love to take my 5 ton, but I have to get some fuel issues worked out first.

USMC Silent Drill Platoon in So. Cal.

Just heard about this today. Save the date...Come on out and show these boys we care! This old soldier plans on being there. United States Marine Corps 8th & I Marine Barracks, Washington D.C. USMC Drum & Bugle Corps Silent Drill Platoon and Color Guard Sunday March 21, 2010 At the Rose Bowl...

    Political Messages on your MV

BUMP. Here we go again. As the original poster of this thread, Here's what I settled for my truck's tailgate. Nothing political. I still need to get a POW-MIA decal.

    M818 with the Family Pics

Ask and one shall receive:-). The legendary diesel doctor himself in the left corner and by the air cleaner. Just a profile and a back side though. Maybe a little camera shy...

    HEAVY duty Deuce

I haven't had the pleasure of driving one, but I have sat in the driver's seat. What a commanding view from up there. There was one at Torrance, CA last May we got to play on. And now for your visual entertainment...some pics...

    M818 with the Family Pics

What's an MV if can't share it with the family? First pic is (left to right) my brother, Tim, me and my Dad, Dave. We met up with Will Wagner last Sunday to do a little work on the truck. Second pic is my little Patriot, Spencer, pulling a little PMCS. You got the 2404's son?

When starting, yell "FIRE IN THE HOLE"

roflGreat story!! Just another "know-it-all" Smaj. A big plastic kitty litter bucket from Costco works good for the 818. Even with 90 ° elbow at the top of the stack, I am still concerned with cr@p getting in the stack. I have forgotten to take it off. It doesn't blow off. I just get a cloud...
