    M35 Top Speed increase?

I looked into this a little more. You're right about the spacing. HOWEVER, if a person was so inclined, they can put the splitter behind the transfer case and just use the rear tandems to get the better speed/mileage/acceleration/whatever. This would be a deadly setup if you tried to go into...

    ok lets get this moving?

Ah I remember it was a hagglunds BV206.... REALLY cool little thing and it went anywhere! I loved the heated compartments. It was split in the middle to help turning, and the rear was a huge troop/cargo area.

    ok lets get this moving?

I'd buy a M21 or Ferret just for kicks! How fun would that be? I was looking at that tracked thing that the Marines use at our cold-weather school in Northern CA on ebay... I just don't know how I'd get it to the ranch. Damn, once it was there, that'd be a blast

Doubtfully, that is information kept within the units and is only used for tracking vehicles and equipment. What # do you need to look up or create?

    military markings

ECC code identifies modern Naval and Marine Corps Units. For instance M11310: M - Marine Corps 11- 11th Marine Regt. 3- Charlie Battery 1-1st Battalion 0- I don't remember That goes in the center of the front doors, and on the hood. That's all we mark the trucks with, besides the Tire Pressure.

Here are my thoughts: Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation Camp Gruber Maneuver Training Center Commanding General Maneuver Training Center That's about it. I'm a Marine, and we dont mark anything on our trucks besides the ECC code and tire pressure, so I hope that is helpful in some manner.

    M35 Top Speed increase?

Just wanted to update this thread. If you feel handy cutting down your driveshaft to shorten it, I can get you a lead on a electronic splitter that will reduce each gear by 50%. It shifts pretty cool, as all you do is put it in first, accellerate, let off, switch the button on the shifter...

M35 Winch, Radiator, other military vehicles/parts for sale

(Military Pilot's verbage) the "turbine cart" is an old APU, or Auxilary Power Unit. Yes, that was for starting aircraft. A LOT of older planes didn't store the starting capabilities it needed to get going, like compressed air and high speed starters, or really good batteries. APU's are also...
