True. Ideally I want to swap the axle (or convert it somehow) to get some electric brakes and get another 4 matching rims and tires from my truck and then I'd be set with two spares!

Sorry I am of no help now, but I have been wanting to do the exact same thing using an axle with electric brakes so its easier to slow this heavy trailer.

Ha ha, well the bag does say that, but the seller also says it on a video he had posted in the description showing his product. I try as much as possible to buy things from American companies who make their products in America.

That voltmeter is 24v. Is it getting any power to the wires on the back of the gauge? Check with a multimeter or test light. You will have to replace it with a 12v gauge for it to read right if the wires are getting the 12v. I saw a post where Doghead said one of the members was hosting the...

A lot of guys have done the spin on filter without a heater. I guess it depends on how cold it gets where you live. Being in sunny CA I will never need a heater, so I went without.
