I still think my old CJ3B went more places than my deuce has been I built it up from the frame with a custom hand made body. I had to have a Jeep since my Grandfather had an M 38 on our farm and I could never get enough miles in it. Mine was sitting at a gas station and when we started the...
RE: This may be linked to the future of all Govt. sales....
Live Free or die... my favorite state motto from New Hampshire. If the DLA is thinking this is a problem too many beurocrats are in charge and we need to fight this. One of my driveways would be empty if they take back all the items...
Mike:
Thanks for the great post I miss America but Korea is pretty too, just the MV's all belong to Uncle or the ROK. :(
Does the dozer run Like to see some pictures of it pushing gravel or dirt.
Nice to have an abundant supply of firewood too and seeing it in the duece makes me homesick
RE: It Runs!! really
Looks Great! and congradulations, and boy do those hardwoods in the backround remind me of hunting season in Indiana. I bet the squirrels are thick in them and the deer love to eat acorns.
I was surprized by one drake wood duck I killed in northern Indiana it had 21...
Chris:
You might need a weight box welded up to hook into the fifth wheel on the M818 we made a lot of them in Iraq because the new FMTV tractors with armor could not drive without a trailer or weight box or they would flip on the nose if the brakes were applied. What a genious idea adopt a...

They had so many of them I decided to set a max bid and put it in on one if it got out bid I went to another that looked to be in good shape i.e. recent rebuild or build date. The fact that there were a lot of them has paid off for me before and it did this time too. I am hoping the...
My youngest son shot up a bunch of windows on my camper with some of his friends in a moment of dumb butt. I could not believe it and when I asked about it he said he thought it was junky but also it seemed like they just got carried away. I did some pretty stupid stuff in my day too and I...
Can anyone tell me what the minimum hight of the pintal hitch would be? It looks like the if I tried to tow this with my Suburban the trailer might bottom out. It is too hard to tell from pictures and I am just planning on how to move it when I get home.
Thanks
Thanks Clint:
Wow we have the best folks on this site! I am hoping the air compressor works and would like to know if any other Steel Soldiers won any of the 30 that were up for auction.
Needle Guns work great
Here is a shot of my M52 after extensive needle gunning. It did a great job in getting at flaked rust and the needles all are independant so they go into uneven surfaces just fine as long as the contour is not too great as the needles only bounce about 3/4 of an inch.
Well the sale is over in Portsmouth and I won one of them that looks to be in good shape.
Anyone else cash in for these mine closed at $408.00 lot #2231
The GL pictures are wierd they will not resize even when you tell Window Resizer to do it they stay about a meg each
