I put 3 led lights on each side, on big light bar in front and 3 facing back (2 in the bed and one by the bumper)...got a little carried away. I remember the MRAPs in Afghanistan had even more lights. and Go lights which I may add next.
tag...I plan on putting my winch on soon. My marine truck has everything hooked up but the winch which didn't come with it. I have a 925 parts truck that I'm taking the winch off for my marine truck. I look forward to you post...thanks
according to this the Ford F350 frame width is 34 inches. so, I'm not sure if they will work

After doing more research it seems like hitches for Fords from the late 1970s should fit the M939 (M923) series trucks...maybe! I haven't tried it but would be nice if someone can confirm this by measuring a F350 from the 70's. Does anyone know if this fits?
If they match up there are heavier...
you can see what the hitch looks like here

I was also wondering if this would work if a hole was drilled out for the pintle...
didn't pick it up yet. I'm not sure if its strong enough and I'm waiting to hear what other members are doing regarding a hitch. Also, I have been doing a lot of other things to my truck.
My truck has USMC painted on the hood, it also has a plate on the driver side door that says it has Detroit lockers and when I make a turn I leave tire marks on the road. It also make a rougher turn.
don't you have run flat tires on your truck
also doesn't the sealant make a mess out of the rims...I was always told not to use it on my vehicles due to the mess it makes
I have used green slime on my ATVs with success
correct if you decide to ford you can also put the vent cap on at the end of your tubing.
but how often do we deep water ford
also this bring up another mod I'm going to do to the flywheel
I'm going to put an elbow with ball valve on it ...so, I can just reach under and close up the housing if...
well if I have to deep water ford I'll turn the fording kit on which should give it a little positive pressure. If you don't have a fording kit on your truck you can also put a cap at the end of your tubing. I still think a little pressure will build up in the tubing anyway with heat in the...
how is water going to get in the axle if the only way in is at the air intake? you would have to be in water above the cab. chances are that those little vents will let water in or they will get clogged and increase pressure causing hub seal failure. I would like to do this with the trans and...
took off axle vents and replaced them with 3/8 elbow and 1/4 inch gas tube running to the air intake. There was pressure in the axles when I took the vents off which I'm sure makes hub seals leek more often. This should be done to all trucks with those crummy little axle vents.
Just an update...
I have oil leaking in to my air box and was told that it might be do to someone over filling the gas tank or over filling the trans or the fording kit being on. I think it is the over pressure from the trans or transfer case because of clogged vents. So, 4 things can cause oil...
one other thought about the over flow of oil into the air box tat no one stated.
The pressure valves on the transfer case and transmission can be blocked. These are the same ones on the axles (axle vents) which get clogged up often leading to hub seal leaks. So, I will make a tubing system to...
never took my M923 over 55. also make sure your hub is on tight enough. My rear axle wheels were wobbling when I lifted the axle. The 2 large locking nuts must have come loose. this wobbling must have blown the seal. So. I recommend lifting all the tires and see if there is any wobble. if there...
