painted my hard top and changed the seal on one hub. Noticed the wheel was wobbling when I lifted it so I checked the other tires. the opposite tire was also wobbling so I tightened the hub.
just something to remember to check.
how much is the CAB, bed and toop seats of a M923 going for these days?
how much is a standard bed and seats in fair to good condition with drop sides going for?
EDIT
how much does a cab go for
this one is 43 inches which good for a deuce but I have to check on the width of the 5 ton M939 type

I did some research on SS and that's what someone said
What might have happened is that the fuel tank had been overfilled at some point and the fuel got "vacuumed" into the transfer case and subsequently (after overfilling the t-case with diesel) was "vacuumed" into the air filter housing via...
M923 fuel preservative choice
Which is best and which do you use for fuel, oil and trans fluid?
I edited this post in light of my research regarding trans fluid in 5 tons here and speaking to others
Looked up a lot of old posts and just called 2 Allison Trans Service shops. spoke to them...
after doing more research I figured that it could be from the transfer case being to full then leaking into the air filter box. I heard that if you over fill the gas tank diesel will overflow into the transfer case making it leak into the air filter box.
I have oil leaking from the same place (air filter box). I haven't checked my trans fluid yet because I'm away from home but get back Monday.
I also heard this can be caused by over filling the gas tank which over flows into the Transfer case and increases its level.
did your leak stop after...
singles aren't that hard to take of and put back on. you use a shovel under the tire to lift it up. the hard part is getting it off the bed. I would use a small pickup truck crane to get it on the ground
From what I understand you will hit your bed with the tires? you need a ISO bed for that
see my post here ... page 2. someone stated that with the bigger tires you'll hit your bed

I'm going to have cigarette lighter plugs but they will not run off one battery. it will run off the fuse box coming from a step down converter from 24v
are you talking about a battery isolator? I thought an isolator was for two 12 volts in parallel but I guess you can use it for series too
or a battery tender?
I'm planning on getting a tender for it when its sitting
I drive my truck at least 2 or 3 times a month
Im not going to run a pure sine inverter since they are so expensive and I have a generator for anything I need to plug in
Im running a 10ga wire from the battery to a blue sea fuse box which will supply 24v and then a 24v to 12v step down inverter to another fuse box for 12v
seems simple and safe
