I would think getting rid of one axle would decrease the carry weight. and if you have lockers in the rear like I do you would lose traction. I'll never bob mine but a crew cab seems interesting

so does the deuce have the same with frame too? are you sure its 34 inch frame and not a 43 inch frame? I believe these will fit on a deuce but from my reading and research they do not fit on 5 tons....but I could be wrong these are 43 inch hitches (usually for Silverado 3500 frames)...

Cut a hole for the pintle hitch to come through and maybe a drop down ball hitch coming from this 2" hitch I know they make one for a deuce but doth think curt has one that fits the 5 ton m923

from what I understand they are not armored. just simulators. I wouldn't pay that much for one. Would rather get a M923 and make armor plates for it myself. I'd just armor the cab and motor.
