Thanks to John Tennis I now have my new spin on oil filters and secondary fuel filters, he makes an excellent kit and is very helpful with any question I have. Thanks Todd
I recently changed the fuel filters on my Duece and the fuel pump made noise, but very little fuel pressure. Took out the pump and the bottom cover was falling off. Problem solved.
I pulled the pump out this afternoon and the plate on the bottom was falling off. I worked it back into position and had more fuel pumping out than I could handle. I was able to prime the system easily and start the truck, now to get one of the pesky secondary cans to seal. Thanks Todd

I would be very pissed to say the least, I don't know how much a wrecker would cost. But at least it would have saved you from what happened. I think I would probably want to hurt whoever did this in the worst way. Sorry I'm not closer. Todd
I'm pretty much done for today, but tomorrow I'll check for kinks and obstructions in the lines and then I'll remove the in tank pump and look at the inlet. Thanks Todd
I changed the primary and secondary filters on my Duece today. Tried to prime the system and no luck, the in tank pump does pump fuel but I am wondering if it is not enough flow. I did open the valve between the secondary filters but still no luck. How long should it take to fill the filters...
I guess I'm lucky even the 89 year old woman across the street was wondering if I had gotten rid of the truck, as she did not see it all winter. I told her it was in storage all winter. She was relieved as it seems she loves to see it sitting in my driveway. This weekend there is a free car...
I just got home from work and sitting on my doorstep was the air-o-matic unit from brianrbull. I bet you the UPS guy almost had a hernia with that one. I figured it cost me $8.66 a lb delivered, not too bad considering what it is. Now I have to find time to put it on. All I have to do next...
I called OES about Duece parts and he said they don't deal with them. Looked at there website and the prices seem high. But where else can you get something that they have around here.
No problem, there were some pretty big Oshkosh tractors there though. I can't even imagine driving one with a trailer on it. They had what looked like a trailer for a tank or something pretty heavy. Thanks Todd
My daughter is going to UW Oshkosh this fall and we were in Oshkosh today and I stopped at Oshkosh Equipment to check out what they had. Some of those tractors are pretty big! No Dueces to be found!
I am putting the plug in place of the old switch before I even drive the truck. I needed to get some silicone brake fluid before I open things up, that's why I made the bleeder so I'd be ready. Thanks for letting me know to get that old switch out of there anyways. Todd
