I tried getting 2 group 31 batteries in my plastic battery box and they just dont want to go in.... i have no idea why they wont when you say they will go in... another person told me they would fit too with the screws flipped and such. does anybody have measurments of their plastic battery box...
ok, ill try to police up some rope and get that area roped off.
Powerhouse,... does that area with the red arrow work for you and thwe trailer? you plan on backing the trailer in or going parrallel to the tree line there? mikey and i will do our best to do what we can so everybody has a good...
well there was a tank that was burried in the mud since WWII that was recovered not too long ago too.... i heard they got it running.... so who knows. then up here in NY, there was a '72 cougar found on the bottom of a small lake that was reported stolen around 1976... not much left of that...
My plan is to leave thursday after work... have dinner with a friend in scranton... then head back on the highway and get there later that night. pulling in late isnt a problem with Rausch Creek people is it?
Don't hate the Armstrong steering! I was working some today doing some small things done on my deuce and M105A2 ready for the trip. The list is getting smaller and I'm getting more things ready and my to-do list is getting slim!
Thanks for doing the recon! I'm game for any trails but I don't want to go in any deep mud... My knuckle boots are ripped (cheap zipper boots). I'm really excited about going down there and riding the trails! You going to bring more of those sour gummy worms like last year? Pick up an extra bag...
another bump! 1 week away... my plan is to get down there thursday night... probably will be a little later, like midnight maybe. think im going to stop on the way down and have dinner with an old friend, but thats still up in the air. who knows, maybe ill be down friday morning:razz:
i know this thread is about c turbos, but what are some of the differences between the C and D turbos as far as seals and bearings? do the d's also use a bushing type bearing?... because i heard d's last longer than c's. thanks for your insight!
some of the u joints had grease fittings?? you cant get to them to grease them with the boot on... im confused. would it only be to grease them easily the rare time you have it apart? any pics of one with a grease fitting??
man, too bad the toys-r-us was flooded not too long ago.... i would definately go in there and see if they have one! some of the proces on the "technic" legos with the gears are expensive! i could definately swing $25 for that though!
i was thinking about that too, looking at my pins slop back and forth a little bit. i just thought about pulling the pins out to see what they look like and hope they are worn.... so its an easy fix to make new ones and that would tighten it up a lot. i have a problem with bent tailgate...
anti skid stuff is nice. its on the front bumper of my winch truck and tops of the fenders. i dont know why i havent slipped off the bumper and smached my nads yet, but i havent! you'll hear the scream all the way down alabama when i do.
i have been driving my deuce way more than my 3 other civy vehicles. the deuce is just fun and its ready for anything i throw at it. in the winter i park the deuce with a full tank of fuel incase i need it in a snow storm to pull my plow jeep out, but i drive my jeep in the winter. i hate...
That sucks breaking stuff like that. That's why I love the snatch block on my deuce winch.... The weakest link is dragging the truck. Dad and I have a "wall of fame" in our shop above the I-beam with all the things that have broken over the years. If you don't have one now, could always start...
Powerhouse- The leg is doing great, thanks for asking. It's a lot better than I thought it would be around this time. It's still sore if I step on it wrong on uneven ground, but I just take my time and try not to over do things. I should be fine for the rally. :o
Does anybody know somebody...
Count me in! I'll have my M35A2 W/W and M105A2 to camp in. I bought a small propane grill at the Gilbert rally that I'm bringing. Be fun to try it out because I've never used one before. Maybe try cooking on that. I can bring some recovery chain and snatch block to help out if we need it. I plan...
