this has some drawbacks to it... i really wish i had a M915/16 to pull it with..(aka- your very lucky ) my M932A1 with the 250 cummins really boggs down.. like to 30mph sometimes on the interstate..
thanks for the good words! i have been working on it non-stop every day i am off work (i work 3 on/4 off) it is mostly done, and has running hot (and cold) water.. i want to put down a floor like you have, but ran out of time, and money before the haspin rally (had to choose between the floor...
I could see that... this is my first rally though.. so I will be learning a lot! lol I have to replace my CB before I leave though... I discovered the other night that I can't TX.. only RX.. :evil:aua
you can not adjust them, they are set for 195*.. but if you remove it from the truck, you can rebuild (clean) it on a workbench.. i just did mine yesterday.. use a spanner wrench to remove the end cap (CAREFUL, there is a small spring behind it.. dont lose it) inside there is a brass cup, with...
It is a 220 plug, but I am only using 1 leg of it.. The whole trailer is 110.. And I have a cord that is 35' long that has a Standard 110 plug on the input end..
Where are you planing to set the generator up at in the campground?
I hooked my m971 trailer up to my small generator last night, kicked on AC unit #1, and it didn't even stumble.. Then I kicked on AC unit #2.... And it killed the 4000 watt generator :/ oops lol
If your close enough to hook...
WOW! That is a super nice m4! That's the first one I have seen with doors though, was that a add on, or military? If I end up taking on one as a project, I may have to come check yours out sometime! (If your willing. I fly free as a perk of my job) what are your plans for the rear area?
pretty much anything you want.. just watch your height with the singles (trust me) if your looking for a inclosed trailer, the M373 goes behind a 5ton nicely... i have a M971 10ton inclosed trailer, and the truck is a turd when im pulling it.. its just to much weight.. as far as flatbeds, a...
I'm about 80% ready... the m932A1 just needs fuel (ouch) and the m971 command camper needs the shower valve installed, and something done about AC, the 10K-BTU unit doesnt evem make a dent in it.. so i got another one to run.. hopefully 20K-btu works :) otherwise i'll have troubles breathing..
have you used a 5 ton tractor with its stock setup? I have a M932A1 that has the super singles and winch. I pull a 40' inclosed trailer, and I don't have much of a problem getting it where I need it.
the truck doesn't turn very sharp though, but thats because of the live front axle.. you can't...
I don't think the microwave is going anywhere.. I could be wrong though.. The air-ride helps a ton!
As far as the white, it should be offset by the dark wood floors that are going in it (not before haspin though.. I kinda ran out of money lol) I went with the white because I wanted it to have...
