In ohio, no title is a killer. First thing I do is get the title done. If I were shopping, I would inspect and buy the same day, and want to leave with a title. If a guy would say he can get one, I would say fine, get it before I see the truck, I'm not making two trips. Or would find another...
:oops: Aw shucks... I was just out having a good time. It's only a bad time when I get stuck. Everyone offered some money, I said a thank you card is enough. got to have the camera when the snow flies, never know what will happen.
Wait, you don't get snow? I'm already packing!
Tires...
Well, we got some snow. They are saying 12-15 inches of snow, which isn't too bad.
So got the deuce out for running errands. Found a semi with a load of lumber stuck. He had got stuck on the exit ramp, didn't get over enough and caught the snow bank on the edge of the road. Had about 4 guys...
I would like to switch to the motor driven centrifuge in the future, but have too much time and money in the fluid driven one. I would recommend the simple one over the diesel craft one.

You know, I'll be sleeping at 2 am.... you'll have to wait till morning for me to winch ya off the pile! Assuming I don't get stuck doing something stupid. Yea, they are calling for 8-13 inches, I'll get the truck out when we get 24 in.... or someone needs pulled out.

I've had 14,000 behind my 3/4 ton. But it was a short trip, with heavy ply tires on the truck, good tires and brakes on the gooseneck. I felt safe, and stopping was decent. Long distance, I would had needed more power, the truck has a 350 gas in it. Step on the pedal and nothing happens!
Yes. You can remove the drive shaft to the transfer, the rear bearing container for the mainshaft, the top cover, and pull the mainshaft out. Then you can replace those syncros.
I had the shaft in and out in a hour.

Mine's singled out. The M108 didn't have the front axle hubs on, did okay. Had no pulling power on the road, no traction. Even the deuce with 6x6, singles, and wieght, had to jerk to remove the van. Off road, traction is pretty good, if your not sideways in ditch.
The next day my wife was...
And a long story too....
Went into town, friend Dan was driving my 07 uplander/soccer mom minivan. Told him, don't ditch the van. Why is it nobody listens to me? On the way back, going along the barely 2 lane township road that is never salted, he catches the edge of the ditch and sucks us...
Front tires are closer, so have less leverage. Probably would push the front end more, mostly on loose stuff. Bet on road there isn't much difference. Guess you would see more tire wear in the corners, and a tighter turning radius.

I've got a 200 miller, and am happy with it. But the only thing I have to compare it to is a 110v cheapo welder. Traded repairing a forklift, and moving a stamping press to get it. It was one of 5 that needed looking at or repairing, most problems were with the switches, or corroded contacts...
Slacker?!? Man, don't go to work and I'm a slacker....
The wood does end up in furniture, I just get the slabs. Did find a 4x6 piece of cherry 10 foot long in the pile. Judging by the slabs, some of the trees were huge. Little bit of walnut mixed in.
It's 10 a bundle, which is one of the...
Went and grabbed some firewood for the year. Cherry slab wood, 5 bundles, 3-4000lbs a piece. Bundles are 4-5 feet in diameter, and 11-13 feet long. About 140 miles away. Already have 4 of the bundles cut and stacked in the basement. Was a LONG drive home, with most hills at 30-40 mph...
Wow, think your kinda of unconventional...
Anyways, we are not as rough as Pirate4x4. Thank god. I must warn you, seen to have had a rash of newer people posting up some wild ideas, and then nothing happening, or going way out to defend a bad idea/misinformation. But everyone is given a fair...
Here's the # for haspin 765-698-2420. Darn winter weather is getting me itchy for some off-roading. Every year I'm ready to go home, and every winter I'm ready to head back!
