Thanks to that restaurant is how I got my first WC54 ambulance completed back in the 1980s. The dealer who sold the military trucks to the restaurant would strip them of parts, because all the restaurant wanted was a display vehicle. My WC54 was completely stripped inside. This guy had every...
When we had them in the Marines, we complained about the gas maleage, and we did even have to pay for the gas! Full time four wheel drive, and to me, just felt under powered with the 318.

Yes, at first I was in no hurry to sell it, but now I am trying to clean up our other place. I have sold off several trucks this year, just hate to scrap any of them. But, I do have in the back of my mind what a friend told me last month. He scrapped his truck and got more money than he was...

No, but I do have it on G503. Several folks were pointing out different things on it, that would be on a M151 or a M151A1......hay!, maybe that is why they are called "Mutts".
Sorry for the pun...

If any one wants it, let me know, it would be a great parts unit, or mail box holder. Hate to send it off as scrap. I used it as a shooting platform on my pistol range.
$250 guys, come get it.

No, it is not the dash mount. It is a mount that is mounted on the passenger step of the jeep. With another bolt that goes into the body to help hold the mount in place. Most of them you see have the M1919 on them.
I would go with the M31 or the M31C both would be correct. Just because your MB...
Right down the road from you in Newport, NC. Look for Morehead City on the coast, Newport is be side it.
Welcome to the site. There is a site memeber not to far from you that has a M37 sat up with the diesel motor. I will try to get ahold of him so he can show you his M37.
If you make a run to...
I have owned a couple hundred jeeps, but never a Mighty Mite. Have owned parts. Have looked at a couple but they had rust issues in the front, and was told to stay away from them that had rust in that area.
I do have the manual for the proto type mighty mite. When one was brought to Camp Lejeune...
No joke, I wonder if those were the ones I sent to aberdeen to sell, who ever bought them got them at a great price, the guy who sold them, misunderstood me and sold them for half of what I was wanting. I was not mad because he was doing me a favor.

Sadly, yes, that was our Sam Werner who passed away in Tracy City, Tenn. I sold him some trucks back in the 1980s, great guy. There was a post about him passing away on the G503 forum.

We use it at work, and you are right it is very $$$. We buy it by the tanker load, and go though it fast for cleaning air craft parts.

Great price!! That jeep is the WWII MB built by Willys. The tools are on the drivers side, the M38 had them on the passenger side.
Do I win one for the answer?

I am living right by being kind to others. I walked into a truck shop that deals in military trucks and there was a set of M35 locking hubs on one of the shelfs. You could tell they had been there for awhile. I asked the owner of the shop would he sell them? He said he ordered the set years ago...
My father in law had a command car back in the early 1980s. He was still an active duty Marineat the time. He ended up finding the correct gas tank in Norway after several years of looking. He tried useing the gas tank out of a weapons carrier but the neck was wrong. I would make some calls to...
One of my vehicles is a 1943 Ford GPW jeep. I had at one time about 8 parts jeeps to complete her. I have been collecting military vehicles sence about 1977, I have always told my friends that an extra parts truck has a habit of paying for itself.
Fast war story, around 1985, I bought a rough...
