Right on, these are nice tires. The little brother to the 14.00 and 16.00 Michelin XL used on 5 tons and hemtts. I saw a set of 6 on ebay a few months ago. They went for about $1000 IIRC.

Wick246- I haven't had any clearance issues or problems with rubbing. Albin- I run 'em straight, although I'm offroad most of the time. Golf balls would probably be best/easiest.

I don't know if have the older or newer style you mention, but you can see pics under the other post. HEMTT rims would be sweet. I'd like to have a set of those!

I have taken a page from the current military designs and upgraded to super singles with double beadlocks. I don't think you can do any better than these for offroad performance. Since they are radials, the onroad performance is probably better also. Here is a pic showing a comparison to...

Cole- I think you will be better off in the long run. Are you going to widen the split ring rim or are you going 2 piece? Are you going with beadlocks?

I've got it. Mike will perfect the method of reducing the overall width and Bruce will get us another line on a dozen M812s for cheap. You better start getting in line for this one!

I'd go with the 1400s. Singles if you need to reduce the width, duals if you want the baddest 5 ton around.
