So... Slowly, but surly I've been working on the Jobsite Assult vehicle.
Main Focus is putting the Gooseneck/Pintle/Receiver hitch together. Please don't make fun of my welds, i'm still learning.
I made a couple light bar brackets for the 14" LED light bars and waiting on my 14" amber...
I just built a new frame that spanned the whole back of the M1088. It houses my auxillary fuse block, subwoofer, and Amplifier. I went to a mattress manufacturer "Campbell Mattress" which is local and picked up some 3" memory foam for the seat and back rest. Looking for someone to sew canvas...
Thank you guys. Rockey990, do you have one or two lens?
Superman, I have LED replacement bulbs, repainted the housings, just have a cracked lens. I uses a combo of rubbing compound and soft discs to clean the other one.
Got the rear panels back from the metal cutter. The laser cut flag will have red lexan behind it which will be illuminated by the cheapie LEDs I bought from Menards. Underneath the flag is the license plate holder and then on the passenger side will have an Air chuck and four 20 amp outlets...
I did about two weeks ago. It only received 15 views as of this morning at 06:22. I have seen people ask for sources for parts on this forum before. If I am in violation of forum rules, I apologize.
Looking for a source or if anyone has lens PAOZZ 5A910 11639538-2 that I can buy. Its the amber lens on a front cast aluminum parking light. I would two NOS or in good condition if possible, one for sure though.
Thank you.
Hey Everyone. I have looked through the TM's, might not have looked the right places? I'm putting new cheapie LED Stop/Turn/tail lights behind the bed I'm building for my M1088. Those cheap LEDS will be in boxes that will Illuminate some Red tinted Lexan that will be mounted on the rear of...
Hey Justin. How did you wire in the E-brake controller. I just fabricated a gooseneck hitch and all my trailers except for a couple pintle hooks have electric breaks. I've searched the site and several post have talked about a break controller, just not sure how to hook it up? Thank you
I bought 1/8" rubber sheets from mcmaster Carr. Maybe same thing as Keith Knight and had cut them to size as well. My sheets are not foam rubber though.
If you were curious on how to ruin your LMTV, just have two high school kids spray on Lizardskin sound deadener on your cab. They are working for me and they actually sprayed their own trucks which look good, but they used rustoleum rattle cans. Apparently a paint sprayer is beyond their...
Welcome bud. I have 3 M1088's and I love them. I'm in the process of wasting time and money to make one of them a work truck to replace the F-650 I built two years ago. The M1088 rides much smoother than the F-650 for some perspective. I have a couple F-250's, 3 F-350's and an F=450 that my...
I found that picture of the wiring on a post on SS about 6 months ago, i've searched for it several times and cannot find it. I would like to give who ever it was credit.
Yes, I think it would be easier to pull accessories off of the buss bar.
Hey guys. Here is a side profile.
This week we dissembled, and had bedliner applied to the the frame, bumber, air intake, controlls, basically everything except the cab.
Next project is to move the air tanks. is there a reason I cannot mount the airtanks vertically with the drain bib...
Thank you Hitman, but I have a couple LED beacon lights at the shop I would like to use.
Superman, no. The wires were pulled out of the back of that plug and laying on the floor of the cab
Hey Superman. These are the two sets of wires. I'm assuming the larger gauge wire is the radio wire and the smaller gauge wire is for the beacon light?
